This guesthouse offers excellent service, comfortable rooms and a great breakfast that even caters for allergies. The welcome is always so delightful, hot chocolate in winter and fruit juice in summer. There is a generator, so loadshedding is not an issue. A great break in the Karoo drive.

First time we visited this facility on our way from Knysna to Kimberley. We were welcomed with open arms by Sylvester and team. Nice room, ample parking, and the room was nicely fitted out. We did not visit the restaurant so cannot comment. The facility as a whole appeared nice, with a pool area to relax. A special feature was the very old swimming pool, now serving as a garden feature. On the negative side, there was a strong sewage smell outside, probably the sewer suction tank that had not been emptied.

Of the many B&B's we stayed at on this road trip, it was the only one with a generator which we appreciated. Gail the host went above and beyond in returning jackets we left behind and we cannot thank her enough. The property itself was very comfortable and lived up to expectations.

Will not recommend this guesthouse. When we arrived there we were told that our room is across the street- in wat looks like somebody’s backyard! Room not as per advertised photos! Manager agreed that she will refund but did not keep her word!

The room was large, the aircon worked well (except during loadshedding). We were not given the wifi access code, but probably should have asked. We had lots of mosquitos in our room, and saw dead mosquitoes on the walls from previous guests that had not been cleaned. Beds were hard but linen good and clean. There was a damp problem in our room. The bathroom only had a shower ie no bath. Breakfast was ok, not much on offer. During loadshedding they had a generator for lights, but it was next to our room so very noisy

Simba, the manager, extended excellent service with a welcoming big smile and referrals for dinner options. Our room was spotless, a fridge containing bottled water and milk for our use was provided as was coffee and tea making facilities. The comfortable bed provided a restful nights sleep. Breakfast was included and cooked to perfection by the friendly resident chef, it was tasty and a great variety of continental and English breakfast options were provided.
