Convenient Location! Cozy Chalet near App Ski Mtn, Between Blowing Rock & Boone

Welcome to our cozy Blowing Rock mountain chalet in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Appalachian Ski Mountain. It's super-convenient to everything. Just minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, downtown Blowing Rock, Tanger Outlet shopping, and Tweetsie Railroad (in the summer you can hear the "choo-choo" from the porch!) and also convenient to Boone (15 minutes drive), Grandfather Mountain, Julian Price Park, Moses Cone Park, Valle Crucis and lots more! It's a little more than an hour to drive to the Virginia Creeper bike trail. No pets allowed due to allergies. There are two bedrooms with super comfortable beds. Both bedrooms are on the lower level accessed via spiral staircase - see the photos of the spiral stair to make sure you're comfortable using it to get up and down, it may be difficult for small children or people with mobility challenges. Use the patio door in the master bedroom for an easier way to get luggage to the two bedrooms (the spiral stair can be a tight squeeze for suitcases). You'll have the house to yourselves. There is a TV in the living room -- no cable, but you can access Netflix and Amazon Prime. In the summer, enjoy sitting out on the covered deck and hear the sound of the Tweetsie Railroad train in the distance. You'll be sure to see deer around dusk every night. Linens are provided. The kitchen is full service with electric range/oven, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and some basic cooking ingredients. Private parking is available for 2 vehicles.
