"We came for 2 nights and stayed in the Shearers quarters. The accommodation was excellent and everything had been thought of for self catering purposes. The breakfast that was left in the room was superb from the cereal and fresh milk to the fresh eggs from the chickens and the fruit from the trees outside the windows. The pool was excellent. We did a Marlborough vineyards tour with Gavin and had a fantastic day and he picked us up from the front door at 10am and dropped us off at 4pm. The animals were lovely and it was great to be able to see them and meet the egg layers ❤️ The hosts Sharon and Jason were very helpful and friendly and Jason gave us a scenic route to our next destination which proved to be amazing. There is also a pottery on site as Sharon is an accomplished potter and has some great pieces on display and will soon be running pottery courses with accommodation. We wish we could have stayed longer and will be back "

"Huoneita on puhdas + makuuhuone erittäin mukava + kylpyhuone mukava ja "suuri" suihku. Esihuone on erittäin ystävällinen ja apullinen (erityisesti Belem on erittäin apullinen ja osaa monia kieliä). Seuraavalla kerralla Blenheimissa menen takaisin samaan hotelliin. Toivottavasti näemme taas, Flurin."

"The room was fine, nothing was missing or dirty. They did have all the windows open instead of using the aircon, which was understandable given the nice weather outside but it meant that, with the constant breeze, lots of pollen was being blown into the room. Since I have bad spring allergies, I was unhappy knowing that the clean pillowcases had pollen all over them. Also the room had a small “air freshener” type box on the wall that was spraying something every few minutes. My husband and I had to look it up to find out that it was some kind of bug repellant that was almost certainly intended for a larger sized room. We didn’t want insect repellant being sprayed into the room constantly that we then had to breathe in, so we figured out how to turn it off. The shower was nice though. I really liked the water pressure. It did get water all over the bathroom floor though, since we were in a room with an accessible shower that didn’t have a divider other than a curtain. The lady at the front desk also seemed standoffish and kind of irritated that we were there, which was odd for the proprietor of a hotel."

"The location is convenient, and there are cafes and restaurants nearby so it's easy to go out for a meal. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, with plenty of room to spread out your luggage. Although it's not the hotel's fault, I was disappointed that even though I had booked for two nights, the hotel didn't receive information about the first night, so I was only able to stay one night. I will ask trip.com to improve this."
