"Although staying in Bled is more expensive than you would expect, when compared to other hotels in the area Hotel Lovec is overpriced for the state of room you get. We had to change rooms because our inital room hadn't been cleaned to a level that would be reasonably expected. The new room was a twin. One of the beds was ok but the other was clearly very old as the centre of it had started to collapse which created ridges on the sides. By the time I discovered this it was too late at night to complain so I suffered an expensive bad night's sleep. I expect that other guests would have complained about this before but it was still in the room. Also, if you are thinking of booking a room with a view make sure you are on at least floors 4 or 5 as our view was mainly car park. Breakfast was ok though."

"We enjoyed a great 2 night stay here! The Hotel itself is very eco orientated, they are really keen on recycling, no wasting food at the buffet etc, which I personally think is great. Check in was swift and we were given our room on the 3rd floor, room was a nice size and clean, there was some long straggly cobwebs in the corners and from the lights that looked like they'd been there a while but not a big deal. Lots of facilities on site, there is a spa (additional charge), treatments, bar, bike rental, camp site, glamping etc, there is a lot going on! We hired e-bikes on of the days, this was 45 euro for the full day, we also enjoyed massages too these were 65 euro each and were very good also! Location wise, it is quite remote to a degree, cabs are expensive (25 euro for a 9 minute cab ride, 95 euro cab ride to the airport) for example. The walk to Lake Bled is approx. 30 minutes, which we didn't mind as we enjoy walking but if you do not enjoy or able to make these lengths of walks, then you'll have to rely on cabs which you have to order at reception and usually arrive in about 15 minutes. On our first night, we opted to have dinner at the hotel, which was plentiful and lots of options, the soup and salad bar was a nice touch but we found the deserts a bit bland and let the buffet down slightly. We did have breakfast for both mornings during our stay, we are not big breakfast people but the breakfast done the trick for us to grab a coffee and pastry but not very good value for money for us as we did not enjoy the spreads. They also did not have any English breakfast teabags, which was a shame as I love a tea in the morning, they have all varieties of tea but not the one I was hoping for. Check out was easy, we left our cases with reception all day and collected them early evening with no problems. The only downsides I would say are the location is slightly too remote and quiet for us, restaurants are hard to find locally, the hotel bar shuts at 10pm (however the kind man on reception did make us a late night drink past 10pm which we appreciated a lot!) The walls are thin and we heard full conversations, a choking fit, shouting, the TV next door blaring at 3am etc, this was annoying and not very relaxing. Would recommend but I would bare the above in mind as we assumed (our fault) that the hotel was a lot closer to Bled, restaurants, bars etc but it was a good 30 min walk away which made everything a tiny bit trickier as we had to arrange plans or cabs a lot more than we'd planned."

"We stayed at this hotel for two wonderful days. Everything was amazing: the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, the breakfast, and the terrace and views from it. Our room had a balcony with a lake view where we drank our coffee and wine. At night, we were also stargazing from this same balcony, which was very romantic and magical. The staff of this hotel was very helpful and polite. And my special thanks to ANZE, who was extremely generous and considerate. To mention, we were also allowed to visit the pool area after checking out, so we could relax before getting back to the city. I'd certainly recommend this hotel for one's Lake Bled trip!"

"Fabulous alpine style hotel. Up a slight hill but easy path to walk minutes from the lake even for us pensioners. Pretty gardens everything immaculate outside and in. We had a huge balcony facing south and enjoyed the late autumn sunshine. Very tastefully decorated good beds and a powerful shower. Small fridge with water and wine. Coffee machine and kettle. Breakfast was a feast with fresh bread and fruits and croissants to set you up for the day. Staff were all delightful. Highly recommend a visit here 😀"

"Se on todella hyvässä paikassa ja ravintola on hyvää. Tankki ei ole usein paikalla. Olemme odottaneet kauan yhdessä vieraiden kanssa. 2. Huone on pieni, ikkunat ovat pieniä, ja se voi olla parveke arvoinen. Huoneessamme oli suuri ongelma (kunnioittamisen perusteella), kun puoliyöllä löydettiin, että ihmiset, jotka eivät löytäneet lattiaa, käsittelivät ongelmat, joten aiomme lyödä nukkumaan autoon ⋯ ja sitten löydettiin vartija (koska ovet eivät olleet kiinni, hän tunsi oudon. Minun täytyy sanoa, että muut ovat todella hyviä ja että he ovat yhteyttä hallintoyksikköön ja ratkaissut ongelman nopeasti. Kiitos todella paljon! Kiitos myös hotellista, että auttaisi meitä ratkaisemaan ongelman heti, mutta he eivät pyytäneet anteeksi. Keskiyöllä oli yli kaksi tuntia makuuaikaa, eikä se ollut tavallista väsynyt. Jos ei ole niin täydellinen, on järvi tai päin järveä, ja CP-arvo on todella alhainen."

"It's a bit far to walk if you take the bus. The restaurant is good. The room is dusty, but this is the case in hotels like this in Europe. Remember to bring slippers. The waiter is very nice and there are limited budget options!"

"A lovely well-run hotel in a beautiful location some 20 minutes on foot from the lake in Bled. The situation in the rolling hills is wonderful, and we enjoyed the opportunities for walking nearby. The breakfast was particularly generous. All in all, a lovely place to stay. My only slight reservation related to the price, but it seemed in line with equivalent establishments nearby. It appears that Slovenia in summer is simply not cheap."

"The b&b is just stunning. The reception are so helpful, lots of leaflets and advise during our stay! The place is a 7 minute walk from the Vintgar Gorge meeting point and a 20 minute walk to Bled which we thought was perfect as it is within a small village out the way of the hussle and bustle in Bled. We truly felt relaxed here even though our days were jam packed! Breakfast was amazing, lots of variety and again really lovely staff to attend to us. We would absolutely recommend this place to our friends and family. Thank you!"
