I am just back from a four-night stay at the luxury glamping pods at Corrifodly Holiday Park. Upon arrival, if you enter the registration plate of your car in before arrival the barrier will automatically go up. I updated this with no issues as I had upgraded my car. The park was well-kept and was lovely and peaceful. The pod itself was lovely and spotless. I was there as a family, with two children aged (14 & 10) and our dog. The pod was spacious enough for a family of four, but I would not recommend it for six adults. The small patio area is a nice feature and when the sun was shining, it was good to go out and sit in, chairs are a bit uncomfortable though so I had to use a cushion from inside on the chair. There is a lockable gate before the stairs which is suitable for small children and keeping the dog in. My partner likes to fish, he fell going down the hill and advised it would be good if they had an accessible route to the stream. I did say to him, that it wouldn't be safe for small children and he then agreed with me. Upon arrival, our pod was ready before our time, and we did have access to it, luckily we did arrive when we did and not later as I had paid for bedding that was not in the pod. One of the reasons I have taken a star off is, that I find this a bit of a con as it is £20 per bedding, (so one double sheet, quilt, and two towels), but I thought this would be for all the bedding and I had to pay an extra £20 at reception for extra bedding. If I knew it was going to be £40 in total I would have taken my bedding. Luckily, I took our towels as one towel each for four days would have been disgusting by the end of the week. There was no problem for housekeeping to drop the bedding off at our pod whilst we were exploring the local area. We did have to put the bedding on ourselves. Cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery, and condiments there was a great variety within the pod. The reception staff were lovely and advised us on areas to walk the dog in the park, my daughter loved this and hid stones around the woodland walks. She was so happy when someone had taken her Scotland flag she had painted! I have also taken a star off due to the facilities within the park. The park was suitable for all ages, but the inside area needs upgrading and ensure that there is chalk for the pool cue and the ping pong ball in the facilities. There is no restaurant, bar, or shop on site. I think the site would benefit from a small shop, especially in high season. There is a post office a small walk down the hill but it closes at around 3 pm, so the nearest convenience store is in Blairgowrie which is about a 15-minute drive. Overall we had a lovely experience, and all the staff were very welcoming we would stay again but we like to travel around Scotland so may not stay at this particular park again.
