We were more than pleased with the room, clean comfy and plenty of room. Only down side was the smell of **** in the downstairs corridor at night but not bad enough to put us off coming back. Very nice hotel and hosts."

The location is absolutely fantastic, especially if you are looking to explore the nearby coast and local attractions—the views right outside are great! The facilities were clean, the service was welcoming, and it served as the perfect base for a quick getaway. Would definitely consider staying here again for another coastal trip."

"What an absolute gem of a guest house The Arthington is and I have to give a full honest opinion of our stay! When we arrived Steve greeted us and offered a cuppa of either tea or coffee which was a lovely gesture after our 2 and a half hour drive, we confirmed our names and number of nights and Steve gave us the room key and carried our cases to the room as we had quite a few items in our possession etc!! He ran us through all the facilities of The Arthington and suggested we read the brochure in the room with far more detail of the guest house and what's on locally in Blackpool eg shows transport restaurant etc etc! Elaine (Steves Wife) was introduced to us and made us feel more than welcome which adds to your stay making you feel at home. The room is absolutely perfect and all rooms are en suite, there is a fully licensed bar too with a good selection of alcohol either beer or wine or spirits etc. The breakfast (cooked by Elaine) was absolutely top drawer and all cooked fresh to order and Steve was absolutely amazing taking your order and remembering each order of the top of his head and what a lovely man and what a lovely couple as hosts they are welcoming and warming and A1. I recommend The Arthington and will be back soon to embrace the guest House and warm welcome and lovely people (Steve and Elaine) there is parking facilities too for The Arthington which Steve will sort out for you on arrival.. Nothing is a problem from arrival til departure."
