"friendly and welcoming. After a long journey it was lovely to be greeted at the door and checked in straight away. Our rooms were clean and comfortable - the bedding was fresh and we had 5 towels each ! Complementary tea, coffee, sugar, milk - 2 mugs and 2 tumblers as well as soap and quality toilet rolls in bathroom. Unlimited refills available in reception - no request needed. My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return next time we visit blackpool. Highly recommend - affordable and high quality service. Officially rated as a 3 star establishment but honestly feel they deserve a 4 star award. Thank you for your hospitality Sally x"

"Hi I stayed in this hotel in room 109 arriving on Friday 27th March with my son for 2 nights we were greeted on arrival and explained clearly the parking options and the Food times because we had arrived later at night We had our food in the hotel at 9pm and my son who is 15 said that the burger he had was amazing so good that we ordered the same food the next night great value for a main meal and dessert for £14.99 I would also like to say a big thanks for returning a ring to my house that I had left at the hotel I am so grateful it meant a lot to me and it arrived safely We will be back again and soon I travel a lot for work and this is the best Travelodge that I have stayed in by a mile all due to the great staff working there nothing is any problem even asking for an iron at 7am (forgot to pack ours) Again thanks for returning my ring"

"Lovely place. Clean rooms , bathroom good just needs a shelf in room 9s bathroom as no where to put toiletries. The couple running this guesthouse are so nice & helpful. Their breakfast is outstanding. Freshly cooked & not at all greasy. Nice little bar which was very cheap. Would highly recommend & we will be back in the near future. Thankyou to you both for a lovely stay"

"We were in a premier room, 120- but the smell was horrendous. There was a very strong smell of rotten egg as soon as we left the lift. I think this could have been a drain issue. But it was all along the corridor. We had a group booking and most of the party were along this corridor. We reported it to reception and they said they just had the carpets cleaned. Sorry.. carpet cleaner doesn’t smell like that. We had to have the window open all night to try and drive out the smell (it didn’t work). Breakfast was nice in the morning but restaurant area could do with a massive clean, there was a lot of dust. Toilets in main reception area- there was no working lock. Parking- there was no where it said you had to reserve it, so we had to park on the street which was free and we got a space further down the road luckily. Location it is a bit of a treck to Blackpool central. Prepare for a good walk… although it is nice along the front. Personally I wouldn’t come back this hotel, there is nothing royal about it. The smell was really unbearable and I advised reception they need to take that room out of action really and sort whatever the problem is. As it’s unfair. Room was well presented and clean, however our friends in 117 the bathroom door didn’t slide to close and there was loads of cobwebs in the window."

"The hotel is basically it's clean my bed was very lumpy they and put a piece of foam on mattress after I told them I also bought a blanket cove up with and lay on there quilt make bed softer staff are friendly it ok close to everything are noise night clubs across road but you can get free ear plugs at reception and it's double glazed"

"Draw front was old and broken and resting in place unsecured so fell off on our feet. Sheets has some kind of sandy gravel. No remote for tv so couldn't turn it on. Sink was full of filthy water and hair - assume from cleaning the floor"
