Chalets at Blackheath

Oh my goodness, Chalets at Blackheath is one of the most amazing places that we’ve ever stayed at - in a truly beautiful part of the world. Angela’s vision to create a perfect, calm and peaceful retreat has been delivered in 4 beautifully designed and appointed chalets, a library/breakfast room, all set in manicured and landscaped gardens. She has built an amazing team to support her, (shout outs to Sean, Rochelle and Michael) who are super professional and welcoming hosts to this haven. The location is just wonderful, set in the spectacular Blue Mountains, with so many unbelievable views on the doorstep. And lots of treks through the bush and tropical rain forests. The team have created some close partnerships with local suppliers, who provide them with some amazing pastries for breakfast, ideas for local restaurants - and in our case, a guided tour of the bush with a local expert, Tim Tranter, who took us for a breakfast experience with kangaroos. This is a 5***** star location in every sense and many congratulations to Angela and her team - we absolutely loved our short stay with you, but heartily recommend Chalets at Blackheath to anyone travelling to the area. And we can’t wait to come back some day.

Booked this place for my 50th birthday and it was absolutely magical! It’s remote but I wanted that, luxurious and heavenly. The staff was amazing - Sean felt like a friend. We loved our chalet - gorgeous, spacious and well designed. We loved riding the bikes to town and the amazing hikes near the property. Breakfast was delicious. Could go on and on. If you are contemplating booking here, do it - you won’t regret it. Thank you Sean and team. Best birthday ever! ❤️

Luxurious relaxing escape from the city The perfect place for a quiet luxurious relaxing escape from the city. With the Grand Canyon walk literally on the doorstep, you can head out for a beautiful walk in nature and come back to a long hot bath, a bbq, laze in the sun, and then chill around the fire-pit. The rooms are huge and everything is top quality luxe.

Loved the area and facilities - it felt like we were in another world! Staff were excellent

This is the most incredible place we have ever stayed! So much mountains beauty, so peaceful & the staff attend to every need. We arrived with champagne while they told us about everything. Was able to organise an amazing gluten & dairy free cheese platter & them seafood platter ready for us for dinner. I can’t recommend The Chalets enough!

We had a wonderful three night stay at Chalets at Blackheath. The accommodation has everything you need and there are interesting architectural details that make it extra special. Mud walls that show shells and stones and also the spectacular sky views in the bathroom. The breakfast is all you could want and the cheese platter we ordered was plentiful. Staff are friendly, efficient and super helpful.
