I stay at Casablanca for a month from 27 July to Aug, it was a very good & exciting experience as it was my first visit to Bishkek also. A unique-noticeable thing was the pictures in my room had the Indian-touch, and so they were special company at Casablanca-home. Obviously the place has all the amenities for a family stay but being a solo-traveler I was mostly exploring the nearby & far away places. The location is perfect - not so far to the city-center, Ala-Too Square - fantastic 2 hours walk by the city-lanes or almost about 20-30 mints by taxi or bus and also not so far from the mountain view, other tourist destinations. A new massive-construction going on just behind the building, like a new White House, so there was a bit of noise-disturbance but since I stayed outdoors almost full day it wasn't much of a problem. Once it is ready, Casablanca is going to be a hot spot as there are new high-rise residential apartments coming up nearby. Orto-Sai flagpole was everyday view from the window of the Casablance apartment. Ala-Archa Mall, Bishkek Public-Park, Victory Park are nearby, just 5-10 mints by taxi or 20-30 mints walking distance. I started the journey to the Ala-Archa National Park from the Mall, went up to Tepshi Plato and then returned. Ala-Too restaurant, Navat find-dining place are also 10 mints drive away. Definitely, summer is a good time to visit Bishkek and to visit Casablanca to enjoy fresh fruits-veg meals, sweets, traditional recipes & drinks; as I am a vegetarian, it was all available at nearby markets with plenty of options-choices. Thank you.
