The coat rack is located right above the kettle and coffee machine. So you have to boil the kettle so that the steam doesn't get on your coat...? Extremely dangerous cotton swabs. "We arrived through a thunderstorm. It was very late. We got a really warm welcome and we had a meal prepared for us. It is clean, comfortable and so peaceful. I would highly recommend this place. I intend to return. Woke to the sound of cowbells. It’s quite a drive up country lanes in places but keep with it and you will be rewarded. Excellent breakfast with home made bread and the meal was excellent. It also has the friendliest dog in the world. If you get a chance call. It’s only an hour from Bilbao port. Handy for the ferry. Give the dog a pat from the 7 motorcyclists from Ireland."

"The hotel views are spectacular. The private spa makes the stay very pleasant. The cleanliness was just okay; when we arrived, there was some stuff sticking out of our noses and stuck to the wall. I can understand that some people might be inconsiderate, but not that these things weren't cleaned up in two days (quite unpleasant). On the other hand, the breakfast is excellent. However, unlike the other staff (who were very friendly), there was one waitress who was a bit rude. I went to ask for cutlery and glasses so we could have breakfast, and she rudely told me that they weren't ready because we had sat down before she had time to clear the table. Fine, I understand we might have had to wait, but her manner left much to be desired. And while we waited for breakfast, she spoke just as rudely to other guests. In short, some people shouldn't be working in customer service. Overall, for the quality, except for the views and the spa, it was expensive."

"Really nice hotel in a beautiful location. The interior is very cosy and the outdoor areas are very pleasant as well. Breakfast choice was rather limited, but all that we tried was of a very good quality. Food in the restaurant was very tasty as well. The only thing we did not like was the room we got. It was right over the entrance and with a view on the parking lot, which made it very noisy. Add to that very thin walls and you end up with not so relaxing experience. Parking at times was full and it was difficult to find a spot for a large car."
