"Definitely 5 GOLD STARS for the LOVELY hotel La Forestière ! Plus a very particular Gold Star for the STAFF who are so welcoming, friendly and efficient! (special mention for the Lady who welcomed us at Reception, who is originally from "Lorraine" - am sorry we didn't catch her name!) The (heated) swimming pool is extremely pleasant, with comfy deck chairs or "salon" areas to choose from; Breakfast is good (fresh produce), and can be enjoyed either inside or outside on a lovely terrace; The 2 standard dble rooms we booked were very clean, practical and cosy, with all necessary facilities; In the evening we enjoyed an apéro by the pool, ordered from the nice bar, which again had really friendly staff. The local beach "Les Viviers" is just 10mns walk (or 3mn drive) away; My son & daughter had stayed here with 5 friends (18-26 yrs old) just 2 weeks earlier for a fun group (24hr) holiday outing, and they all absolutely LOVED the place! And now that I have also experienced La Forestière (as a 56 yr old Mum just wanting to chill out with my adult son and daughter and her boyfriend for 2 days in Biscarrosse), well I can only 100% CONFIRM their enthusiastic review of this hotel ! It suits ALL kinds of people (families with young kids, grandpas & grandmas, groups of young adults, young romantic couples, a mum with young-adult kids (me), etc... !!) - In summary, ""La Forestière" is now going to become our regular "HQ" whenever we want to spend some quality tim VERY Reasonable rates for such a lovely place, despite it being the "high summer season" !)"
