Premier Inn Birmingham City Centre Broad Street

Stayed for one night when attending a concert at the symphony Hall. Location superb, 5 minute walk to ICC and arena. Staff were excellent, they are a credit to the hotel. We were made to feel very welcome by everyone we met. We arrived early and were able to leave our cases in the luggage room so we could enjoy our day in Birmingham. Our room was clean but I have to say not spotlessly as so, hence 4 not 5 star review. The skirting boards were thick with dust, and the bathroom tile grouting could do with a good scrub. The carpet looked like it would benefit from a wash, preferably replaced. However, as we were only here for one night, literally for somewhere to sleep it was adequate. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very quiet. There is no ironing facility in the room but if you ask at reception they will provide an i to and board. Great breakfast. Would we stay again? Maybe, for the price compared to other hotels in the area, but it is crying out for a spruce up.

The location felt safe, easy to find and is rather useful for anyone attending a gig/show/event at the symphony hall. Unmanned check in (evening) was simple to use (via booking reference) Comfortable bed, large room and quiet surroundings made for a relaxed stay.

Room damp and too many rooms to cope with breakfast requirements. Had to wait or come back later for breakfast and then the team ran out of plates or food. Lack of organisation. Noise is an issue also. Yes you expect other people to be coming and going at different times but I didn't expect to hear their full conversations. Worst premier Inn we've stayed at. Staff friendly and trying their best to make up for shortcomings of the hotel itself.

Didn’t feel “premier” Tired, grubby floors,carpets looked 20 years old, smelly corridors, expensive car park. Travelodge standard, maybe worse. Staff chirpy,very friendly. Check in with the app is useless. No water in room, over priced vending machine .

Very competitive prices. Fantastic room ! Quiet! Spacious room! Very clean ! Excellent comfy bed ! Slept so well ! Dianne made us feel so welcome and was friendly and couldn’t do enough for us ! This hotel is situated very central to all of Birminghams attractions food theatre shopping etc

Although the hotel is fine, comfortable room and good breakfast - I would have given 4 stars, however my car was damaged during my stay here. The parking, which costs £15, has tiny spaces that are VERY awkwardly spaced and the only available spot was in the corner and the ground was uneven, I caught the left under-side of my bumper on the ground and actually pulled it and now there is a large crack in the left side of my bumper which would never have happened if the parking was on even terrain.
