My husband and I stayed here with our child for two nights. We traveled here to attend a football game. We were very disappointed with the condition of our room and lack of cleanliness. The bathtub was clogged and Peeling. We had to stand in the accumulation of water, soap scum And whatever was peeling from the bathtub as we showered. Since we arrived late on the first night of our stay, I reported this issue to the front desk in the morning before we left the hotel. I was reassured that maintenance would fix the issue in our room. We returned late in the evening to find that the bathtub was still clogged. I decided to call the Titanium Elite customer service line for assistance. The representative I spoke to contacted the front desk and was told that the maintenance person would be sent to our room to fix the issue. We were ready to shower and go to bed but we decided to stay up and wait for the maintenance person to fix the bathtub. No One showed up. We waited for an hour and ended up once again showering in a gross tub. Aside from the bathtub being clogged, the shower curtain was dirty and stained. The ceiling was stained. The carpet inside our room stained our socks with dirt. I ended up cleaning the bathroom floor myself with sanitizing wipes. We spent $450 to stay here for two nights. We will never stay here again and we would never recommend this hotel to anyone. $450 can be well spent at a different hotel that actually adheres to Marriott standards. The following morning, before we checked out, I asked why the maintenance person never came to our room to unclog the bathtub. The front desk representative told me the maintenance person was scheduled off this weekend?? The lack of staffing is obvious at this hotel.
