Hotel facilities were basic, but I knew that when I booked. Location was ideal for what I needed, and the staff were very friendly. I booked for 12 nights, and I found it a little frustrating that I had to request towels to be changed, as they make it clear rooms are not serviced every day for longer term stays. Would have also liked a internatiol razor power point like most hotels have around the world. But I understand this is an English Health and Safety ruling. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

I usually visit here 3-4 times a year when attending football matches in Liverpool. Stayed again 7th-9th March and once again had a great stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is very quiet, yet Liverpool city centre is only one stop away by train under the river. But the thing that sets this Premier Inn apart from others I’ve stayed at is the staff! Fantastically friendly, accommodating and helpful I can’t praise them enough, particularly Amanda, Luke and Helen. Each of them offered us outstanding service and are the main reason we will be stopping there again in May.

The hotel is not the easiest to find some sign posts outside of the premises would be handy for drivers. Checked in relevantly easy after a short queue. After checking in to my room there was a smell that was a damp mould type smell. Other than that the room was fine although no sound on BBC1 when watching tv which was strange. Went down for evening meal which was pre booked only to find there were several things i couldn't choose due to having no stock which is disappointing when the evening meal deal was prepaid. Honestly, this breakfast was the worst experience i've had using the Premier Inn chain and i've used hundreds of their hotels across the UK. Again there were several items missing from the breakfast menu which included Fried Eggs, Black Pudding, Tomatoes and what was left was a disgrace. Extremely fatty bacon which looked as though it had been cooked on a radiator, sausages like an old priests fingers. My breakfast ended up being 2 hash browns, 1 sausage and mushy beans, i left the scrambled eggs because they were like pease pudding, just dried mush. Without doubt the worst Premier Inn i have been to and would give it a miss, won't be returning will use Bromborough Premier Inn only only 15 minutes away

Comfy bed, cheery helpful staff, carpark small "£9😡 for over night." Some nice pubs nearby and close to the train station £4 into Liverpool. If no trains bus stops at the end of the street makes a handy base for trips to Liverpool or Chester, great shopping designer out let "Chester Oaks" massive.

I have stayed at Marriotts,Hiltons and many other brands around the world but have never experienced a welcome quite like Stacey's. Arriving with my family for a funeral, we we're not in the best mood, but Stacey's impression of Cilla Black and humour really perked us up. This continued later when my wife arrived and also the next morning by Helen.... .such positive and professional staff. Thanks a million .

Great value, very friendly staff and good parking. Stayed here for 3 nights. Warm room, helpful staff and price was good. Premier inn have a good standard and love that the beds are so comfy. Really good location near the railway station so only took 5 mins on rail to get into heart of Liverpool too.

Been staying here nearly a year now with work, Iv stayed in most premier inns in the country and this is the best one iv stayed in brand new staffs are helpful and amazing foods good parking great and most of all signals great. Stacey on the desk is funny and helpful I’d stay here again 100% Big love stace ❤️

Great location and value, easy access to Liverpool central, 10min metro or taxi. Staff were friendly and welcoming, small issue with bedding and towels, we asked for new as I had spilt a milkshake - towels were handed to me, which meant leaving my taxi waiting, and bedding was not changed meaning we had to return to damp bedding after a night out

We stayed for just the one night here and after a not particularly good day out for a funeral we returned to the hotel and were met by stacy and a colleague who absolutely made our day.. cheerful very chatty and generally interested in our trip.. what a ovely change to some hotel welcomes . Lovely hotel and rooms ..Highley recommended..

It feels like home! The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced to sleep . The room temperature was perfect and clean; the staff were the friendliest people in the world and very welcoming and helpful. They always approach you with a smile, and you feel comfortable talking; Birkenhead is a lovely town, and people are amazing and welcoming. Im planning to go back because I felt very relaxed in this hotel, Special thanks to the very kind staff 👍🙏

I have to say just how lovely the staff are, especially Stacey & Steve. Though she had a bad knee, she went all out to make sure I had a room suitable forme and Steve came up to make sure the room was ok. Such lovel, genuine people & the room was good too. 😊

I can't rate this hotel highly enough! The staff are amazing and very accomodating, especially Staci and Caitlyn who go above and beyond for my mum when she stays. I can't thank them enough for everything they do. The rooms are always spotless. Thanks guys, you're the best ❤️

The good stuff first - the staff are unusually friendly and helpful. Luke, in particular, helped us unpack when we arrived because we were concerned we might fall foul of the 15 mins grace in the paid parking and organised housekeeping when we raised our concerns. Our room, however, was awful with grubby carpets and an unsecured strip into the bathroom; the ceiling cracked and with paint peeling from it and stained and loose panels. the Bathroom extractor fan didn't work, which together with Premier Inn non opening windows, meant we had a sauna every time we showered. There was no 'Premier' in this Inn. On the suggestion of staff, we sent a note to hotel management with photos, but have had no response in two weeks.

The service at this hotel is second to none. Friendly, welcoming and always go the extra mile. Rooms areu pristine and Ihad an amazing nights sleep. Stephen and his team are just fantastic and take the upmost effort to ensure the stay is perfect.
