Golden Nugget Biloxi

I was expecting a little better from a Golden Nugget Casino hotel. Customer access to room with luggage and carts was nearly impodiible

The place was great for the price. The casino was good with allot of choices. Our room was ocean front and the view was great! Big rooms and the bathroom was good. They did start some remodeling our first morning a little early!!!

Room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Very easy to park. Nice location with a newly opened wterpark right next door. Saltgrass Steakhouse just across ther road. Located right on the water.

Not a good experience. After spending 5 days at the Golden Nugget, we requested a luggage cart for checkout. We were informed a cart would be available in the morning. On the morning of our checkout, the check in desk lady was adamant about informing us that carts are only available to bellman. We had to make several trips to transport our stuff to our car. The hotel staff seemed very disorganized. We will not be staying here again and don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

It says it is recently renovated. It looks like that happened in the last century. Staff is unfriendly and not helpful, and frankly don’t care. The bellman refused to bring my items to my room because I didn’t have a suitcase, so I was left to carry them myself balancing them while I walked with my cane. Some of the attendees at the conference here are leaving early because the hotel is so bad.

This is the worst experience I've had in a hotel for quite some time. The room itself was very comfortable, but the little things added up to a bad experience. First of all, the check-in process is ridiculous. You drive up the ramp to the valet spot only to realize there's no valet parking. You leave your luggage with the bellhop and he/she gives you a ticket to present at check-in in order to have your luggage delivered to your room. Of course, you have the option to take your own luggage, but that would mean that you basically wasted a trip driving up the ramp. So, you drive back down the ramp and to the parking garage. It is a maze! Each spot is super-tight, especially with everyone owning pickup trucks and SUVs and the concrete columns leave no room for errors in parking. After driving around, ending up going the wrong way in a one-way area, and getting lost, we finally settled on a place to park in the dark, dank garage. It was about a 2-minute walk to the hotel door. We took two escalators and walked a bit until we found the check-in area. If you have luggage, then be prepared to be exhausted by the time you reach check-in. After checking in, we found the elevators and went to the 6th floor to Room 660. It took 45 minutes for a bellhop to deliver our luggage, so we just sat in the room and prayed that all of it arrived intact. Nothing worse than sitting around and hoping that your luggage wasn't taken to the wrong room. During that time, we watched TV, but the remote was not very responsive. You basically have to stand in front of the TV in order to use it. The input button didn't work, so I couldn't hook up my Roku Stick to the TV for personal viewing. When it took a while to get our luggage, I decided to try and call downstairs to check on things only to realize that the phone in the room didn't work. So, I had to go back downstairs to check-in to see about our luggage. She said the phone wouldn't be fixed until after I checked out and gave me a number to the front desk to call from my cell phone if I needed anything additional. Not only did the phone not work, the plug outlets next to the bed are worn out. Anything you plug in will basically fall out if bumped. My wife had to charge her phone on the desk because she couldn't use it in bed while charging. The plug would fall out of the wall whenever she texted because the plug wasn't secure. The room itself is nice. The bathroom is spacious, but not private. You enter the bathroom through bi-fold doors that leave a half-inch gap where you can see in/out of the bathroom while sitting on the toilet. No privacy at all. The shower was okay. The half-door entry to the shower makes it easy to get in and out, but there's no soap dish. The water pressure was good and the water got extremely hot when needed, but the pressure did surge a bit.
