Excellent Séjour parfait, excellent accueil, chambre parfaite, climatisée, spa très très agréable, petit déjeuner excellent. Magnifique, devant le vignoble et très calme. Nous sommes très ravis et enchantés de ce séjour. Merci beaucoup 😁.

Not bad Stayed for 3 nights. There are pluses, but also minuses. Pluses: Beautiful area. Close to Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. Large rooms, great showers and toilets. There is a kettle in the room. In front of the room is a small terrace with a table and 2 chairs. Breakfast is included in the price. Breakfast is very good if it is covered by a woman. At our request, she even covered us one hour earlier due to our early check-out, (many thanks to her). When breakfast covered a man, it was much worse. There is a jacuzzi and a magnificent terrace overlooking the vineyards. You can take a tour and wine tasting. Now the cons There is no minibar in the rooms, no safe. All terraces in the open air, with the exception of a small piece right in front of the door to the room, which does not save from rain and does not cover from the sun. Nobody speak english.We spoke through Google translator, which created some inconvenience.The man was extremely unkind, but the woman was very kind.We arrived at 14.00 there was no one at the reception (check-in16.00-18.00). We wanted to leave things somewhere. We got through to the bell that hangs at the entrance for such cases.This man came and to all our requests we received only one answer impossible. A woman came and allowed us to leave things. We returned at17.30 we were met again by the same men and again only one answer impossible to do check in. We must phone and ask for check in. He did not care that we could not talk in French. Overall it was good.

I am pretty good at deciphering thru the adds and brochures that places use to "lure" you there way. So now given that, I looked over the offerings of rooms by La France and decided to reserve a room here - picking the room with a "vineyard view". Well the only vineyard view I could find from our room was if you stood on your tippy toes and looked out the 1/2 sq meter window in the bathroom. So we were disappointed by this. The room pics that I used to rent the place were identical to the room we received right down to the colour of the tile in the bathroom and the pictues on the wall, so I think we received the correct room but it only had a courtyard view (which was nice). The location of the small hotel/BnB is right in the vineyard. Now the fellow running the breakfast room was superb and elevated my election to give this place 4 * instead of 3 * due to the view thing. For breaky he offers all kinds of breads, jams, sweets, toast, yogurt & fruits and also offers to make you an omelet which is also superb. So in closing we will probably try and stay here again but pick a room with a "courtyard view" for a few Euros less and enjoy the surrounding vineyard and the superb breakfast.
