The Swallow Falls Inn - the Inn Collection Group

The place has recently been refurbished to a very high standard, it's beautiful inside, a lovely place to sit and eat, But not that food, I had a light bite Welsh rarebit , or tasteless white sauce on toast as they believe, we also had the curry , which was a microwave meal, few lumps of chicken with sauce and some over cooked rice, maybe a pudding would cheer us up ? Nope, terrible, I didn't even bother eating mine . Chocolate and whiskey cheese cake, was like angel delight piped into a bowl . The menu is good enough but nothing we had matched the description. Not cheap either, the microwave curry was £19 ( I think ) . To be fair the coffee was nice and the staff were lovely

My wife and I have stayed at other hotels that are part of the Inn collection group and the hotel and front of house staff were of the usual excellent standard, however it was badly let down by the food and the attitude of the kitchen staff. We had prawn cocktail starter and it arrived with no sauce, not a problem thought I they are new and have forgotten to put it on we sent it back. It arrived again complete with sauce and a message from the Chief "That's how it comes" wife told me to ignor it. We then had our mains my wife had a overcooked flat bread with hers and I had a curry that had no taste. While we were there we saw several other people also complain about the food. We had breakfast twice and the bacon was of the shoe leather variety. The following night we walked down to Betws- y- coed and had a lovely meal at the Ponty Y Pair Inn. To sum it up its a nice place to sleep, the carpark is good and the front of house staff are very nice but they are badly let down by the kitchen staff so come on Inn collection I know you can do better.

Had a lovely stay. The hotel breakfast was very good the evening meal was hit and miss. The room we had was a very good size lovely shower and the comfiest bed ever. The decor was lovely, newly done. Good location for visiting the surrounding areas.

Openly, food poor, in short, £19 for a microwave chicken curry, 4 piece of chicken, over priced food for a family! Lovely place, poor chain food! Sorry I have to be open!! There is so much better around. I said to staff how I felt, they agreed, and that was that

Very nice facilities in a good area that is close to snowdon and all other activities. The rooms were really clean and had everything needed. The staff were also very friendly and helpful during our stay. It is located next to swallow falls which is easily accessible. Highly recommend and would stay here again

Nice looking hotel, friendly staff, shame the childrens meal wasnt the best, over cooked chicken making it extremly chewy for a 5 year old, the chicken burger and sticky toffee pudding was burnt which was a shame. Cutlery forgotton and the wrong ice cream given, but wasnt the worst place we have been.
