"Let me start with the cons. 1. We booked two separate nights, and for the first night, they put us in a room on the basement level, which was on the same floor as the underground parking lot. The design was quite impractical: after opening the door, the bathroom was immediately to the left, and you had to walk down three or four steps to get to the bed. This was a bit dangerous for anyone needing to use the restroom in the middle of the night! For instance, my husband actually fell once when going to the bathroom at night! 2. The air conditioning wasn't cooling. After talking to the front desk, they said their system showed the AC was working. The two nights we stayed weren't extremely hot, but it was still hard for my son and husband to sleep comfortably. Now for the pros: 1. They offer free 24-hour milk and coffee. 2. The staff's service attitude is excellent. 3. The location is superb. 4. It offers great value for money."

"Overall pleasant stay, we enjoyed the room and the Spa which were very good. The cleanliness was impeccable. The room staff is very nice. Negative point for the mention "City view", in fact, we had a view of the facade of the building opposite (room 221). The breakfast is decent but the service does not follow. The staff did not offer us the hot food menu offered in addition to the buffet. We had to ask at the table next door where they had their pancakes, omelettes and others. So we ordered a cheese and bacon omelette. After 15 minutes of waiting, an omelette arrived with very very little cheese and no bacon. Finally, when checking out, everyone who left the room received a small biscuit bear "to thank them for their stay". We received nothing and the checkout time was a bit rushed, we felt like we were not treated like the other customers."

"A few details about the hotel: 1. The hotel is about a 15-minute bus ride and walk from the train station. 2. The hotel is small, but the service is excellent. When we arrived, the front desk wasn't open yet, but an elderly Asian man was on duty and let us check in with our luggage. 3. The front desk isn't 24/7, but the African-American woman at the front desk was very friendly. 4. There aren't many attractions in Bern, but the hotel is within walking distance. 5. Since we had a Swiss Pass and didn't have the Bern bus pass we were supposed to receive, the hotel didn't charge us tax, but we can't guarantee this will apply to future guests. 6. The room was very quiet and didn't face the street. Finally, and most importantly, the hotel provided fruit, cookies, coffee pods, and drinking water. You always give a compliment when you receive something, haha. The best part of this trip!"

"From arrival it felt I was judged as I just came for hike and now in my going out clothes. 3am footsteps above ere so pound kept me awake, moving at that time caused me anxiety so I tried putting my headphones in. 7am it started again. I came to check out and mentioned it and basically was told off my the male reception most for not coming to them and then asked for city tax. Customer care was zero! I was tired and upset and all I got was rudeness. At 3am I don’t want to be moving room. I hasn’t asked for a refund. Maybe a coffee or a wave of the city tax would have been nice rather that this lack of regard. Never ever will I stay here again and I would highly appreciate a chat with the manager as I am not happy about this treatment."
