Good Day I would like to share my experience about Saint James on Venice. I booked at Saint James on Venice on the 5th of December 2024. When I booked the room on the 3rd of December I advised the lady that I would like a room with a shower. On the day of my arrival after a long and tiring flight, we arrived at Saint James on Venice at 10pm.They placed me us in room 15. I had to climb these stairs with my old mother and was placed in a room with a bathtub. I am a regular customer at Saint James on Venice however I will not book here again and I will not recommend anyone to stay at Saint James on Venice. The service is poor and pathetic. When I asked for a refund so that I could find my mum and I alternate accommodation, I was told that they would place me in another room however the lights were not working. I would also like to add on the fact that we were placed in a room with a shower downstairs however the lights didn’t work and the air conditioner dripped on our heads the entire night. It was around 1am and we were unable to sleep due the fact that the water from the air conditioner kept dripping on our heads. This is absolutely ridiculous. No one will be able to stay in this room.It is extremely hot and one cannot sleep without the air conditioner on. I put a pillow and in an hour the pillow was soaking wet. I emailed managed at Saint James on Venice with my complaint and was advised on the 6th of December that they will compensate me for 1 nights stay as the level of service was not up to standard. It’s a month later and I haven’t received anything. I would not advise anyone to stay here.
