Motel 6 Berea, KY

I traveled to Berea With my granddaughter for the Berea Craft Festival. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was CLEAN. There was a huge HD TV with lots of channels. The beds were comfortable. The room was quiet. The air conditioner worked great and kept us cool during a heat wave in July. All lights/light bulbs worked. Fridge and micro were clean and worked well. The only slight thing was a missing threshold cap between the room floor and the bathroom floor certainly not an issue for me. We stayed one extra night to rest up and sleep before heading back to Mississippi. This motel is a great value for the money. NOTE***The Mexican restaurant next door is Fantastic!***

We stopped for one night while on the road. The location is convenient and the price is cheap. However, this was one of my worst motel experiences ever. The floors were so dirty that our socks were black. The bed trim was held on by two types of tape, duct and wrapping. The room was worn, such as a rusty tissue holder and no back on the TV remote. The screw for the door lock hang loose. It seemed many actually lived here, with people coming and going all night, and loitering in the parking lot in groups. Voices outside the window as well as car alarms going off (and people yelling about it) made for very little sleep. It is now 3:30 am and we are leaving. Do NOT stay here. I was mislead by other reviews. I'm doing you a favor by giving mine.

Perfect for the price! Spotlessly clean, good shower pressure, firm beds, quick check-in and very nice employees. Rooms on the back are separated from highwY noise. Food and gas/convenience right outside the door.

I typically do not stay at Motel 6, but this one had good reviews and the price was right, so I thought I would check it out on my way home from Georgia. This is a family-owned business that deserves to be recognized for their attention to detail and the obvious pride they take in their motel. The room was immaculately clean, the tv channel guide was in alphabetical order and of course the plastic cover was clean, the bedding as well as the mattress was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and updated. Check in was quick/friendly/informative on services provided (no breakfast but coffee), wifi password, vending location and how to check out. The area is close to the highway, but far enough away that you do not hear any traffic, very quite and peaceful. There are 2 Barbeque restaurants within minutes of walking distance and a Buc-ee's at the next exit North that is a must stop in Richmond about 3 - 4 miles on 75, I got my breakfast there and did a little shopping! All of this for under $70.00! There are 2 other hotels very near their location and probably 5 more in Berea, but if you are just looking to rest for a night or 2 as there is a lot of History available to visit in the area, why you would pay $100 plus to stay somewhere else with this gem available?

We were struggling to find a place to stop on our way South. I can across this hotel, so we stopped here. The room was clean and provided us with a safe location to take a break from the drive. Would definitely stop here again on our way south.

The hotel doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the rooms are updated, nice furnishings, comfy bed and very clean. It is located right off I-75 so easy on/easy off. The hotel does not have amenities, but when you need a place to stay a night or two and you want a decent room, this place is good. Would definitely recommend.
