Sensira Resort & Spa Riviera Maya

Some things were great and others weren't. Our room was nice but our friends had a moody smell and they were only a few doors apart. The buffet has lots of selection but we often didn't get wait staff for water or Coffee in the morning. Often the tables were not fully set between table transitions. 3 restaurants were nice but the wait for a table or food was long especially if you weren't there when it opened at 530. Kids program was fun. My daughter enjoyed hanging out but it had a funky moldy smell. She had an awesome face painting experience by Migue and another activity worker Angye was great. Internet was pretty decent all around the resort. Evening activities were varied. We caught the fire show and magic show. Both very good. Beach was raked each morning but collected a lot of seaweed drift throughout the day. Kids pool was always busy. Often a struggle to get chairs except first thing and very few umbrellas. Trampoline park a huge hit with kids.

It is our last day on our 16 day adventure at this resort. I wanted to leave a review. I have been to Mexico well over 20 times (even spending a month in Mexico at a different resort). This experience has been amazing. We are kid free so this doesn’t include many kid activities, we went for our honeymoon. Pros: - We love the staff. We had the ruby suite which gave us the butler service. Our butlers were on top of everything and SUPER nice. Jony and Ximena are amazing butlers who truly made us feel at home. Cristian (temp butler when our others have a day off) really was on top of it too. Once we needed more towels and I swear he teleported to our room with them he was so quick!! Alejandro was our favorite server at the beach/adults only pool. He was so friendly, checked on us often, and always had a smile. Super fast as well leaving us very happy. -Our room. The ruby suite is GORGEOUS. With a wrap around balcony and in suite jacuzzi tub. Large shower and really cool pop up TV that comes out of the top of the dresser at the foot of the bed. I felt like a queen staying in this suite. It feels very lux. Having access to the amber lounge is also a major plus. So nice to have a quiet peaceful place to get drinks/snacks -The restaurants. Personally I loved the food and with the butler service we never had to wait for a table and were able to make reservations. The room service fee of $10 per delivery was also waived (however we did end up tipping that almost every time due to the quality of food and the niceness of the delivery service members) The buffet isn’t as great so I recommend going to the restaurants. It is decent but breakfast service is the best, lunch and dinner typically have fewer options, we’re sometimes luke warm, and wasn’t amazing but still tasty for lazy days. The dessert lady/man needs a raise though. Those desserts were AMAZING (I’m not even a sweets fan and I was eating them left and right). -The bars. This resort offers numerous bars and you can get a drink almost any time of the day. You can also purchase bottles so you can drink once they are done serving for the night (1am is when the nightclub closes). There is no annoying packages where you have to buy something “premium” to get top shelf booze. What they have is what you get included and they have great options. The Knights Pub was our favorite since it is kid free, has pool tables that are maintained better (they aren’t perfect, but way higher quality than the ones the kids have access to), poker tables, and is open from 6-11pm (their site says 9-11. This is a typo). Many tasty drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The swim up bar is also open on demand. Which is a bummer when it is closed but it was open most of the time we were here. To be honest though, we preferred the adults only pool/hot tub anyways so we weren’t at the swim up bar often. -Activities. They offer quite a bit of things to do here. Mini golf, a Movie theater, trampoline park, spa, zipline, poo

Tami, Alejandro, Cristian, Edgar, David, Claudia, Iris, Alexa and Abi. Were wonderful. The whole family was entertained. The dance was amazing. Coco show was our favorite we loved frozen too. The dancer’s choreography was very entertaining
