Medplaya Hotel Riudor - Adults Recommended

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very nice and tasty also they had plenty to offer for breakfast. It was in a good location from the beach and local nightlife

We are due to stay at the hotel in April 25, but have been trying to contact the hotel to enquire about an early check in and a late checkout Unfortunately, the hotel is yet to respond despite two attempts to contact them I am hoping that the hotel will reach out if someone from the hotel reads this We are coming to Benidorm as a family bonding trip after a bereavement

I'm staying at this hotel for 10 nights. The hotel is in a great location near all the amenities. The hotel itself is clean and welcoming, as are the staff. The room itself is spotless, and showers are great ( I like the touch of the Dove soap). The only negative I have was the food which for me is an important part of the holiday. There's plenty of selection, as other reviews say. And as we were half board, I found the breakfast fine. But the evening meal left a lot to be desired the quality wasn't great. Unfortunately, this let the hotel down. We ate out quite a lot to get some decent food.

Check in was quick, but felt a bit of an inconvience. No smile or friendly welcome. We thought not a great start. Room was clean and bright, had kettle, added bonus. Fridge in the room, bit of an issue with bird poop on railing of the balcony. Hotel can't control that, so just be aware. Walk in shower was good, temperature was a bit hit and miss. You pay for a safe which would just fit a tablet in. Cleaned every day. Bar area and outside seating is comfortable. Staff much more friendlier. Even bring your drinks to you. Reasonable price for a hotel. Not sure about the entertainment. Pool area was clean, bit to cold to sunbathe. Food had a good choice, this was the first time on HB. Was not informed at check in you had to pay for drinks with dinner. €2 for a bottle of water. Someone comes to the table. One night it was so busy we never got served. Breakfast had a good choice as well. Hot food is served from 8am although we were in there about 7:45 for the cold food. Plenty of different choice of milks. Hotel has braile on the signs, has a ramp up to the hotel. It also has the nice smell in reception as with other Medplaya hotels. Location right in the middle of things. We would stay here again.
