Hotel Servigroup Castilla

Booked to grab the last part of summer. Returning to the hotel after a two year gap. Happily, all was as we remembered it. The hotel is in a quieter corner of benidorm, although not very far from all the action. The Old Town, the nearest beach and the clubbing area, are all in different directions, each about a 15/20 walk. Our room was exactly as requested. Most welcome was the efficient independent air conditioning, because the weather was very hot, even for September. Nice poolside balcony, TV, Safe, Fridge. No coffee facilities. Very satisfactory bathroom. One tiny grumble, most benidorm hotels provide a couple of bathroom glasses for toothbrushes etc. Here, unfortunately, you only get 2 cardboard cups, which start leaking after 24 hours use. The standard of the restaurant food is way above the benidorm average, and its preparation is quite sympathetic to british tastes. The bar area does have a kitchen of sorts and there is a limited menu during the afternoons. The pool area is usually one of the quietest in benidorm. Unusually for benidorm hotels there are plenty of sun chairs, available for all. There is evening entertainment in the large lounge area. Also a large TV screen for football matches. Another plus for those seeking a quiet vacation is that the hotel does not particularly welcome stag and hen party groups. Reception staff were incredibly helpful with their local knowledge. Would, and probably will, stay again in the future.

We cannot praise this hotel enough, from the minute we entered the service was outstanding. First we were greeted by Jackie on reception. The bar staff especially Ingrid and Jamie, the cleaning staff, the restaurant staff. We will definitely return and we truly cannot recommend the Castilla enough. Our holiday was fabulous. The food was outstanding, so many different dishes to choose from each day. The chefs were kind and all the staff had plenty of time to talk to ypu, nothing absolutely nothing was a problem. The rooms were clean and spacious. Lovely balcony. If you're looking at this hotel please don't hesitate, just book it, you won't regret it.

Great hotel . Spotlessly clean throughout hotel . Rooms cleaned and daily towel change . Free room safe . Pool towels can be hired just €20 deposit though they don’t exchange for clean ones but you do get your deposit back in full . Beds very comfortable and great electric blackout blinds . Food pretty good for a small hotel . In a quiet area with a few bars within close walking distance. Good location for both new and old town . Never had a problem getting a sunbed at any time of the day though this could be due to the time of year . Would I go back to this hotel definitely. A lot of older clients in hotel and entertainment centres around this age group

What an absolute gem of a hotel!! We were here between 24th September and 5th October and can honestly say it is the best hotel experience we have encountered in Benidorm. The hotel, restaurant, pool and grounds were immaculate and that is testament to all of the hardworking staff employed by the hotel. We found the food in the restaurant varied, tasty and fresh and the staff worked tirelessly keeping the food replenished and the restaurant spotless...Shout out to the tall male chef (sorry I did not get your name) but your poached eggs were divine!! Our room was spacious and had lots of storage and it was cleaned daily with fresh towels every day. Loved the location and how quiet the hotel was, we will definitely return...Lastly, a special mention must go to the lovely helpful lady on reception who checked us in and who accommodated our request for a high floor with a pool view (it also came with a view of the sea) so thank you so much Jackie, we truly appreciated it and enjoyed every minute of our stay..its a 10/10 for us.

Absolutely fabulous . Stayed here for three nights with girl friends to celebrate my 50th. The staff were amazing. So helpful. Jackie on the front desk couldn’t do enough for us . The rooms were great, located together , and the pool areas was beautiful and clean. Lots of beds. Food in hotel was also good, with variety and good service. The location was great for going out and was safe too. Easy walk to the beach. One of my favourite hotels we have been to (have done four trips in recent years).
