Veracruz-Fincas Benidorm

J ai ete souvent au vera cruz ,mais l appartement que l on a eut cette fois n est pas terrible il est vieux et pas très propre. L endroit est si joli que c est dommage pour l appartement ,le canapé est vieux les chambres n en parlons pas ! Il y a 2 oreillers mais pas de taies pour tous .

First of all the location is perfect, right on the doorstep of Levante beach, gorgeous views on floor 15 over looking the beach and the Veracruz supermarket underneath is handy for essentials and shopping too, that’s where the good points end! Room - NO AIRCON!!! I feel as though we’ve been sold a complete lie, advertised with pictures of modern looking rooms, with aircon and freshly done! Complete opposite to what we were given, we were given a very dated 2 bedroom apartment with very basic facilities. We’ve stayed here for 3 weeks and the heat has been unbearable, we ended up renting an aircon unit for €70 a week from elsewhere. I asked in the office whether aircon was available he said some rooms so I asked if we could change to one he just simply said no! I feel all the nice apartments are saved for the Spanish people, the guys in the office are so rude as well they were helpful on the odd occasion but not without a huff! Also a dreadful smell every time you walk back into the apartment from been out almost like a sewer smell. The bathroom has mould on the ceiling, and in the tiles. There were rips and holes in some of the curtains in one of the bedroom, no proper locks on patio doors and windows and with us been on floor 15 it was a constant worry with having the kids with us. No cleaning essentials provided such as washing up liquid or cloths I had to buy our own as well as toilet rolls as only a couple provided for the whole stay, towels and bedding hardly changed at all. The pool is lovely and clean can’t complain about the pool itself but there is no sun loungers at all only plastic chairs to sit on so it’s not relaxing at all, no floaties allowed in the pool what so ever either. I also feel your made to feel very unwelcome by the Spanish that are around the pool as well we were constantly stared at and talked about which was blatantly obvious. We managed to get the tv working and change it to English so the little ones had some cartoons to watch etc, Wi-Fi is also at an extra cost i paid €20 for 2 weeks. We paid just short of £3000 for this 3 weeks and I feel we didn’t get value for money or even close to the standard we would normally get. Wouldn’t stay again absolutely dreadful place, writing this whilst here on our last night even going home a couple of days early as I’ve had enough and can’t wait to get home!

Once again great service above and beyond. Very clean all that was needed for self catering Inc. Veracruz supermarket 10yrds away 3rd time here back in Sept. And hopefully in future Good price close to everything and sea on doorstep 4 lifts left for odds right for evens
