The hotel and staff were excellent and couldn't do enough although they seemed a little under staffed but coped.It was a bit noisy at night with people coming back after a night out but what do you expect, if you go away on holiday to sleep then wrong place! There was a good choice of food to suit all tastes even tripe... yuk! I didn't like the welcome into the restaurant by one of the staff making snorting pig noises as we entered, I nearly said something but got a dig in the ribs by my partner. Entertainment was a little hit n miss and the sound system was garbage. My friend went to tweak it a little but we ended up with a visit from the police and the hotel getting a 600euro fine for being 3 decibels over the 80 allowed ha ha. Entertainment was Bingo, Karaoke, and a quiz but we made the most of it and just got drunk! The location is good, few bars scattered round and beach a 10 min walk, bus tops on the end of the Rd and not far from a taxi rank.

The gala placidia is in the heart of Benidorm. It is a 15 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes away from the indoor market. Food: 1. Breakfast: breakfast was not the best. It had your traditional fry up and everything it just didn’t taste the best and made our tummy’s feel a bit funny. 2. Lunch: lunch was good lots of options and rarely ran out of food 3. Snacks: burgers were absolutely beautiful. Best burgers ever. 4. Dinner: dinner was good however it was a lot of the same thing and some if it just did not look nice or smell nice. The paella was good and the themed evenings were very good. Rooms: the room was very spacious and we had a lovely balcony. Unfortunately our balcony did overlook the bins but as we were high up we didn’t mind. The beds were very comfortable and the air con worked perfectly. We actually pushed out the sofa bed to the balcony and slept there most nights. It was lovely and comfortable. The shower was good but bear in mind the water drain is at the wrong side of the bath. The bathroom has a lovely red light where you can drip dry if you fancy. Drinks: the cocktails were amazing and totally worth coming again just for the cocktails Reception: reception workers were good BUT. If they say it is a 5-10 minute walk to so and so destination it will be at least 25 minute walk. They also overcharged us for the late checkout even though I had booked the next night and already paid it. I showed them the evidence and apparently he couldn’t understand the email from my travel agents. I personally won’t be coming again but I did enjoy my stay. Entertainment was very good. Bingo, bird shows, magic shows, flamenco, quizzes

Came here with two of my friends for a girls trip Had an amazing time and staff were lovely especially the man behind the bar that served us sex on the beaches all week!😂 Only complaint is that the walls of the rooms are very thin and we had the maids banging on our doors around 9:30am the day we were checking out when we only needed to check out at 11am. Overall great, would definitely come back again for another girls trip.

We have stayed at many hotels in Benidorm but came here for our 45th wedding anniversary, the all-inclusive is amazing, the food was plentiful and good options. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Close to indoor and outdoor markets and plenty of shops for the take home gifts. Every visit to Benidorm doesn't disappoint. Love coming here and will definitely use Placidia again. Thankyou to all the staff for making our anniversary and stay at this hotel memorable

Where do I start , this is not for the faint hearted . This hotel does and is not a place to relax . I have stayed in many hotels in benidorm this has to be the worst . We payed a lot of money to stay here on bed and breakfast option , the food in the hotel was disgusting and cold we ate here the first morning never ate their again !!! .no way is this a four star on TripAdvisor I've stayed in better 3 stars . Anyway back to the room . I will give the cleaners a big up as they were fantastic 👏. I asked when we checked in could we please have a kettle in our room , ( this in my opinion should be standard) the rude man that checked in said yes , that never arrived . The telly was so small you need a magnifying 🔎 to watch it ( that's not what we came on holiday for ) we'll the walls in the rooms are paper thin i could hear people above snoring 😴. We came on the 9th november and we fly home later today thank god .I have not had an ounce of sleep since being here !!!.thanks to the people staying in the apartments across the road . Shouting swearing all night long . This hotel needs updating badly . I could go on and on but il stop there . I'm not a person who writes on here about hotels but this needed to be said stay away room 609.

The best thing about the hotel is the entertainment; the girl Alba made us laugh with her games. The food was very good too.

We arrived for a 3 days stay all inclusive. Good points. Great location, spotless clean, rooms are lovley, staff are so friendly. Bad points. Food was very basic even all inclusive taken into consideration, mostly cold. Kept getting served the wrong drink despite telling the lady it wasn't what I wanted. Walls are paper thin the noise during the night was bad. However I would return to the hotel itself as it was so clean and as I say the staff are amazing but I definitely won't go all inclusive again.

Very friendly staff especially the lady in reception Candace. Clean room, great location, nice vibes, good restaurant and Bar. All in all I had a lovely stay and would return.

We got to the hotel reception was lovely and very helpful..room was lovely and clean we where all inclusive there was different dishes on every day plenty of choices .Danni the waiter was lovely all though our stay... definitely come back Nicola and kayla

Second visit this year. Fourth visit overall. Son and daughter in law joined us for their second wedding anniversary. Once again we enjoyed ourselves as did they. Especially the cava and cakes left for them in their room. All staff were extremely helpful from reception to housekeeping. Will certainly visit again in the future.

Recently just come back from staying at the gala placidia hotel, the location was perfect, the room was clean and comfortable and the food was very good, and found all the staff to be friendly, Liliana on the the reception was fantastic and nothing was to much hassle for her and Antonio behind the bar legend :-)

This hotel is way below par. Everything is dated. The staff are rude. The food is cold and basically terrible. It is so horrific that this review is actually painful to write. Please save yourselves this torture and look elsewhere.

This is a basic hotel was all-inclusive but no fridge or tea coffee facility's in room Was charged for a bottle of water never been charged when going all-inclusive in other hotels in Benidorm. The room had a old key safe that cost 27.50 euro to hire got 10 back when returning key. bed was ok The restaurant was ok but hot food was just warm The only good thing about this hotel is plenty of sun beds and 2 pools
