Welcome to The Friday Escape!
Enjoy open acres including ponds and a nature path through the woods, sprawling with wildlife and some of the elk herds’ favorite grazing fields. A perfect retreat in the heart of Benezette.
You will find local attractions within a few miles. Spend the day exploring or relaxing by the fire pit. The house comes with all of the amenities for cooking, but if a sunset glass of wine or a heated game of shuffleboard sounds good, this is the place for you!
Addition of a spacious patio added in January 2024 with access from sliding doors in the living room. Recent addition of 6 person hot tub. Summer additions to patio will include a 20 x 25 ft area under roof, grilling and dining area, cornhole and lounging furniture.

Don't hesitate!
My husband and I stayed here for a few days/nights on a last minute whim and it did not disappoint! Brooke and Jeff have a beautiful place here. They have clearly put a lot of thought and time in to all of the details of the home, big and small, inside and out. Everything is meticulously maintained and beautifully decorated. They aimed to please and were very accomodating. They even had beer, wine and bottled water stocked in the fridge! And the elk activity was amazing! They have a huge property here and we wouldn't have even needed to leave the house to see elk. They were all around us pretty much the entire time we were here. Thank you Brooke and Jeff! We will be back!

Amazing Getaway!
This house was a perfect getaway for our family. It was even better than the photos with everything you could need for your stay. The house was incredibly clean and decorated so you feel right at home. The walking paths on either side of the property was beautiful and full of wildlife. We frequently come to Benezette and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed! They are adding a hot tub too!! You won’t be disappointed! Jeffrey was incredibly complimentary; and the local wine was a kind gesture!

Birthday Weekend
My family stayed here over the September 22-24 weekend. We saw plenty of elk from the front porch. Even had one come up the front yard. The views are spectacular with or without the elk. Jeff and Brooke were extremely accommodating and helpful letting us know what we could enjoy around the area. The house is beautiful and we will definitely plan a trip back here in the future.

Peaceful
This house is beautiful and exactly as listed. Very peaceful location. The house is very well stocked with everything you need for your stay. We saw elk while we were there. We went to the Benezette Hotel for dinner and drinks. I would recommend going there to eat. Very friendly people. We plan to come back again.

Best PA Getaway Ever!
The property was immaculate, as per the description. The owners were very eager to help our stay be as nice as possible, which it was. And the elk were cooperative, as we got to see them the first two nights! Couldn't ask for more!

Wonderful Stay
We had a wonderful Christmas get-away here. The house is beautiful. The host decorated the house for Christmas for us with a tree plus pretty lights Even gave us a bottle of wine!. We had everything we needed or asked for. Communication with host is excellent. Great place to see elk in fall, we are sure. Putting in huge patio out back which will be great! Would recommend a stay here!
