Booked this hotel last minute at a very good price, cannot fault the hotel for cleanliness at all, it was spotless! Plenty of sun beds too so that was never an issue! We used the spa every day, it was €15 per person for 90 minutes and that was excellent and also very quiet! Location is perfect only a short walk to bars/restaurants and the staff were very friendly! Overall a great hotel but a few things just let it down! Our room didn’t have a bin which is strange so just had to leave rubbish on the side, there was a kettle in the room but no mugs/glasses or tea/coffee, again bit bizarre as not sure what other use a kettle is? Nothing major but just little things that could have been put in place. Breakfast was included when we booked so we went down first morning between 9:30-10am and it was absolute carnage! 20 people queuing for an omelette, people everywhere, not a great experience, plus food looked ok nothing great, rest of the holiday we went out for breakfast instead as it was just chaos! I’d say the main thing that let the hotel down was reception, check in process is far too slow, takes a good 10 minutes to check in, plus when a lot of people arrive at once this is an issue, people at the back of the queue had to wait 50 minutes before they were seen by someone at the desk (the last thing you want when you’ve got off a flight and arrived at the hotel) also this is the same queue for any queries. I went to get towels from reception as they weren’t provided in the room, saw about 20 people waiting to check in so didn’t bother in the end! Don’t think they need more staff on reception just think if you’ve already pre booked your room why does it take so long to check in! Should really only take a couple of minutes surely? Apart from that it was a good hotel, very clean and the small issues could easily be rectified!
