We stayed here the last week of March, thankfully we picked the best week weather wise & had no rain :) The hotel is huge & right on the sea front - a bit far out of the resort thought. Check in was smooth & was allocated to a superior front sea view room in the Marbella block on the 11th floor - it was amazing, the size of the room was fabulous & the view was breathtaking, like being on a cruise ship. The hotel had two separate areas for the pools & sunbathing, one for Adults & one for Families this is a must. The grounds are well looked after & a good set up. Pools were cold, but I did brave it one day, as it was so hot. The bar was closed in the adults area, had to walk to the family area to get drinks, due to time of year. The food was okay, the breakfast & lunch had lots of choice with English sausages, beans were cold - there was a microwave to warm them. The evening choices were a bit more limited, but always manage to get something. The red all-inclusive wine wasn't great, ask for a glass from the bottle for one euro, this is more like red wine. Rose & White was okay. We also had the La Carte - this was amazing, so much food & drink. The Entertainment was poor & the lounge area had chunky furniture along with big pillars, so only a few tables could actually see the act/singer. All of the staff are friendly & helpful & we met some lovely people. Also the location was about 20 to 30 minutes to the centre of the resort, we like walking, so it was okay for us. We went to Palmo park which is about 20 min walk towards Benalmadena & up the road with the windmills & on the left - a lovely park at any time of the year. Also the Marina area is a must, this was a 40 min walk & then onto Torrelimonos - a lovely walk along the promenade stopping at the gift shops & cafes on the way. Bus 120 runs frequently. Overall we had a lovely break & would probably come back, as the views & size of the superior room with a full sea view was amazing.
