Chambre d'hôtes très agréable, parfaitement aménagée et située dans Bellac (plein centre-ville). Literie conformable, propreté au rendez-vous. Très bon accueil, l'hôte est fort sympathique prend soin de vous. Petit-déjeuner complet.

A beautiful house of character in a central position in Bellac. Tastefully and comfortably furnished with antiques and quality bedding Easy parking outside. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Maison Bellachone is a beautiful traditional town house. We had room one which was spacious clean with a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom had a bath and over shower with towels and toiletries provided. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The hosts Craig and Shorani were welcoming and helpful booking us a table at a local restaurant a great recommendation. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Such a wonderful place to stay. The house is beautiful with each room having its own distinctive charm. The beds are huge and so comfortable and even though you are very close to the town it is so quiet and peaceful. You are close to some wonderful walks and the local bars and restaurants are excellent. Craig and Shirani are great hosts and I would definitely recommend staying there.

We’ve just stayed here for the long Easter weekend and have had an amazing time. The rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious, the beds are extremely large and comfortable too - the perfect elements for a relaxing stay and peaceful night’s rest. We loved the tranquility of this place and Shirani and Craig, were wonderful hosts. I thoroughly recommend this place and will be coming back to stay again soon!

De l'extérieur la maison n'est pas très jolie. Mais dès que l'on passe la porte, c'est superbe. L'accueil est parfait, l'intérieur est magnifique, aussi bien les différentes salles que la chambre avec un lit XXL très confortable. Rien à redire, le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon et le propriétaire très sympathique. Arrêtez vous, vous ne le regretterez pas!

We stayed at Maison Bellachonne for just one night, whilst travelling to the south of France - we wished we could have stayed longer! The house is quite plain from the outside, but step through the door and you are greeted by a property of great character and warmth. The rooms are large and furnished with antique furniture in keeping with the house. However, the beds are big and comfortable and the bathrooms well up to modern standards. We stayed in the gold room, at the back of the house, which was quiet and had a very nice countryside view. Our breakfast was continental style, with a lovely light crème caramel starter. Craig and Shiranee, the English owners of the house could not have been more welcoming. If we are ever in the area again we would certainly want to stay there.

Lovely stay in this quaint, charming hotel, with rustic floors, chandeliers and oh so pretty French crockery; it's like stepping in to an olde worlde English House from years ago. As we're looking to buy in France soon, Craig was very helpful in suggesting great places to visit. Highly recommended, we really enjoyed our stay.

En route vers Cordes sur ciel nous avons décidé de faire une halte d’une nuit à Bellac. Notre choix s’est arrêté sur la cette chambre d’hotes. Nous n’avons pas été déçu bien au contraire. Très facile de garer la voiture, il y a un parking gratuit juste devant et une camera municipale surveille le parking. La façade et l’entrée surprennent ainsi que la réception et la décoration mais après avoir échangé avec l’hôte (très charmant) qui est anglais on comprend mieux. La maison date des années 1660, et a conservé son âme : piano à la réception, grand escalier de bois ayant plusieurs siècles mais facile, décorations diverses quand à la période et à l’origine mais très intéressantes. J’ai beaucoup aimé, on est dans un autre monde que les hôtels standardisés. La chambre est grande, la salle d’eau moderne avec une grande douche, le wifi est de bonne qualité. L’hôte parle français correctement et est charmant. Le petit déjeuner est l’un des meilleurs que j’ai connu. Pour les restaurants il y en a 2 tout à fait très bien l’un à 50m l’autre à 200m. Bref une adresse à retenir, et nous y retournerons.
