Obel Apartments by Beehosting

The room we were provided was NOTHING like the photos on the listing, the room was tired, full of dents and marks in the walls, it was not clean at all, and it had 0 amenities. There was not even any soap to wash hands in the bathroom. The listing says about having shampoo/ body wash and there was nothing. You can hear every door slamming all through the night throughout the block, which kept us awake, and the corridor stinks of smoke. We WISH we had of looked into Dream Apartments prior to booking, as this company has absolutely dreadful reviews across the board - I am amazed at how they are staying afloat with such a terrible reputation. I got my money back and moved completely elsewhere, as the apartment was just not fit for purpose, and was nothing at all as I expected.

We arrived an hour before check in and asked for them to keep our bags. They stated it would cost £5 per bag or £20 for early check in. We opted to check in early. Then they asked for a £150 security deposit via bank transfer, it was quoted as £100 in the email and nothing about bank transfer. I said I didn’t know how to do a bank transfer and they offered PayPal. She didn’t know the PayPal account so she let me check in. In the. Read reviews and found they are notorious for not returning the deposit. When we got up to the apartment there was a lot of unfinished repairs. The front door looked like it was broken into at one point, paint on the floors and several patched holes in the walls. Also the water heater didn’t work, even after we hit the boost button 3 times. Then when we left the next morning there was standing water in the hall next to another unit. Overall one of the wort places I’ve stayed at.

My boyfriend and I stayed here last night. Upon arrival, the queue was significantly with one man manning the desk. We were made to transfer the security deposit of £100 rather than them just making a hold on the card. They also charge £20 per hour for every hour you go past the check out time which is early at 10am. When we got to the room, the apartment had a lot of signs of wear and tear, the bathroom door had been kicked or broken on the lower left hand side. But most annoyingly the bathroom had not been cleaned. There was the previous guests toothpaste spit still in the sick, there were hairs in the bath and on the floor, the taps were dirty. The cooker in the kitchen had not been cleaned and the draining board was dirty. I complained and we were offered a previous room. We went to look at it and the boiler as giving a continuous banging sound so I ended up cleaning the bathroom myself. Also the building is right beside a Dual Carriageway and the sound of cars is constant. The windows are not soundproofed at all. I would not stay again and I would not recommend it. Photos attached

So uncomfortable i could not sleep do not go here i don’t recommend .. small apartments with rock solid beds. Nothing provided and the front desk staff are just rude. It’s an ok area for walking to vitoria square, other than that will not be coming back !!!!! Bathrooms dirty also, Muck on floors

Booking cancelled few days before because they basically sold it to someone else. Being we where up for the Christmas markets everything sold out or more than double the price now. Trip cancelled for 7 people thanks to greedy owners. Avoid! They have done this a few times

This is a lovely apartment, however the 120 euro fee before you even get through the door was abit annoying, but honestly i would go again. When we got there i was abit confused as to where to get the keys to the apartment as there are 2 buildings but after we got the keys we walked around 10 minutes into the city and we found it. The tv had netflix, the bathroom had a lovely shower and overall the apartment looked modern and very clean. The apartments are situated very well and I would go back here, however again if you didnt know about the fee just know there is an 100 pound one (120euros), you don't get it back till afew weeks after aswell
