I had an unpleasant experience with the staff at this establishment. Upon check-in, I was charged for breakfast that I explicitly stated I did not want. I immediately requested that the charge be removed and credited back to my account. However, the staff claimed they were unable to process the refund and informed me I would have to "claim it back," which I believe reflects a questionable business practice. As this was a business trip it would be classed as busines fraud, this was clearly explained to the two members of staff on check-in. What should have been a straightforward task—issuing a refund—turned into a frustrating ordeal. The staff were extremely unhelpful, obstructive, and seemed unwilling to resolve the issue. It wasn’t until I insisted on escalating the matter to their manager that any action was taken. Even then, the issue wasn’t resolved until the day before my departure. This experience highlights a significant lack of staff training and customer service standards. I strongly recommend reviewing your staff's training and processes to avoid future issues like this and to ensure customers are treated with respect and fairness.
