very nice hotel, close to Tianan men and Wangfujin walking street, easy to find good restaurants.

Stayed at Grand Hotel Beijing and it was one of the most memorable stays of the trip, mainly because of its unbeatable location and classic charm. The hotel is just steps away from major landmarks like the Forbidden City and Wangfujing area, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Being able to walk to such iconic places adds a lot of value to the stay. The property has a more traditional, grand feel compared to modern hotels, with spacious rooms and elegant interiors. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the rooms were comfortable for a relaxed stay after long days of exploring. The staff were polite and professional, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall service felt reliable and efficient. A great choice if you want to stay close to Beijing’s main attractions while enjoying a more classic hotel experience.

The hotel location can not be beaten. Its right where you want to be if you are wanting to see historical sites and easy access to shopping and subway. The hotel back in the day would have been a magnificent hotel but now its fairly run down and old. Carpet is dirty, mould in bathrooms, walls are peeling, cupboard doors don't open, AC is non existent. The beds are super super hard. The buffet breakfast is very basic and the dining area is quite old. Free water each day and they give you soap, body wash and shampoo each day. I'm not sure if I would stay here again but this was the most affordable option with a great location.

The facility is dated and needs renovations. Staff is not rude and not willing to work with you. This is not a five star hotel. I am sorry but my experience was not that great.

Beijing Hotel is conveniently located near the Wangfujing walking street. Subway station that connects the city is just in front of the property. Amenities provided were adequate for peaceful living. Recommend this hotel to others for their trip to Beijing.

I absolutely love Beijing Hotel. The price was very reasonable. Prime location in the heart of Beijing. Minutes walk up the forbidden city and Wang Fu Jing. We had a suite which includes an actual king size bed, and two double beds for the kids. My sister's room had a fantastic aerial view of the forbidden city from the 15th floor. Highly recommended.

Location is the greatest because of the following: 1) The metro station is right at the front door. 2) the metro station has two lines Line 1 and Line 8. Line 1 being a major East to west route. 3) It is walking distance to several malls, the nearest one behind the hotel has several floors of restaurants. There is always something to see and eat nearby. 4) you are a few block away from Tianan Men and Forbidden City. These sights will take a toll on most people and the proximity will reserve your energy to get started and relief when your ready to rest. I could not give a 5 for Cleanliness and Facilities because: a) The hotel is quite old and it shows. b) I got a bath tub for a shower. for older people, this is a challenge and could be disastrous. The room size was great.
