The PuXuan Hotel and Spa

The Puxuan Hotel is in an excellent, yet peaceful location with expansive views. It also features the first Guerlain Spa in Beijing. The toiletries in the room are a full set of Guerlain products, exuding a luxurious feel. The complimentary fruit in the room is of high quality, and the mineral water bottles have a sophisticated design. Even the glasses and tableware in the minibar are unique. The minibar is free, and the turndown service includes sachets, which is a thoughtful touch. While we were out for dinner, the room was tidied up perfectly, which we greatly appreciated. Next to the hotel is China Guardian Auctions, with a connected garage. Across the street is the National Art Museum of China. Below the hotel is a subway station exit, making it very convenient. The hotel houses the Michelin-starred Fu Chun Ju and Left Bank restaurants. The ambiance, breakfast (buffet + à la carte), and service are all superb. They also offer a complimentary Chinese sachet customization experience and jasmine tea tasting, both with detailed explanations and patient service. A special thank you for the complimentary birthday cake and hand-drawn card, and the welcome letter upon arrival – very thoughtful gestures. Highly recommended!

The stay was excellent overall, and the staff were outstanding. Their attention to detail and level of service were truly above the rest.

People say this is the best luxury choice in Beijing. Overall I would try my luck at another hotel next time. I do think it was clean, silent and centrally located. Service to the room was prompt and the housekeeping staff truly went above and beyond with personal touches. The rooms are decent and spacious but with notable design / utility flaws. The view from my room was really bad. The overall hotel interior design was stunning, particularly the check-in floor. I thought that there was room for improvement in the front desk staff. They weren't rude, but not to the level of proactive service of high-end hotels. The gym is quite small and there's no pool.

We just got back from an amazing stay at this Beijing hotel. Our double room was great, but the bathroom was a real highlight- huge and with these awesome built-in speakers that made getting ready feel so luxurious. The sweetest touch was the housekeeping lady who left a little weather forecast and a fragrant perfume pouch on our bed every night; it felt so personal and thoughtful. We made good use of the gym, which had all the essentials, and the cocktails at the bar were seriously next-level. Everyone at the front desk was super helpful, and the location couldn't be better for seeing all the sights. If I stay here again, I will book a massage in the spa. I ran out of time this time.

TBH I was so regret to book THE PUXUAN Beijing this time, especially when I found so much inconvenience with little baby. It’s a good designer hotel and may be prefectly fit couples, biz man, tourist who can really enjoy this place. However it’s a nightmare to my family: 1, The environment temperature is extremely low in the public areas, specially the entrance, cold like a refrigerator. 2, look at the drop light in the middle of their hotel living room, if your height is over 178cm, your head must get hit just like me, I bumped like 20times during my 2days stay. And their staff told me this light is the same in each of the hotel room. Trust me, the light is steel made, very hard. 3, I asked for a baby bed and they did provide me, guess what, the bed size is only for BABY (below 12months). My son is 16.5months so he can’t sleep in this bed, I have to live in another hotel because I compromise my place to the baby who has to sleep with his mom. Moreover, their baby bed is also steel made, no coverage around the fence, I won’t risk to leave my baby to sleep inside, he might hit his head every time he rolls on the bed, just like I did in the living room. 4，I gave 4 stars only because Ms. Han the on-duty manager, after I complained above, she react very fast and provided me disappointed solution (free additional bed) lol… hilarious… I don’t think the hotel management got my point, anyway, I didn’t accept any other complimentary that they offered except I wanted delay checking out ( baby’s afternoon nap), Ms. Han was quite kind and offer us baby noddle soup because my baby got cold and running fever - not sure if it’s because of their air-conditioning. In summary, don’t suggest any family (with little baby) to try this hotel, there is not any facilities designed for children, all their furnitures are made by hard woods and metals with sharp angles, it’s very dangerous in my eye as children can’t help themselves getting injury occasionally. Besides, if I was traveling or only with my wife, this is a perfect place, great food, amazing designing, top class facilities for adult to stay.

Beautiful modern hotel with an otherwordly service. You can see every employee trying his hardest to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast is immaculate. THE hotel to stay at, when coming to Beijin I will definitely come back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 4 night stay at The Puxuan. Highly recommended. Thank you to the hotel team across the board, special mentions for the care and service from Adam and Tiffany at the front desk, Ron, and the diligent breakfast crew especially Jackie and Kora for looking after us. We loved the peaceful vibe and the warm soul of this hotel. We hope to be back again and bring our friends along!

Exceptional hotel with exceptional staff! Stayed for three nights. The entire hotel and room were very clean. Loved the room design and how modular it was. Showered, toilet, tub, all very clean. Bed sheets were high quality and very clean. It was a treat to return to the room everyday. Breakfast was also delicious, served out of the Rive Gauche which is a Michelin star restaurant. Breakfast service is thoughtful and everything comes out so quickly. On top of that, the staff was incredibly helpful. They speak English, so it was helpful for a non-Chinese speaker like myself. They were always attentive and ready to open doors, help with luggage, etc. On top of that, I lost something, and they did everything within their power to help me locate it. I cannot stress how much they went above and beyond, all while being so kind. Overall, highly recommend to anyone staying in Beijing!
