Nostalgia S Hotel (Beijing QianMen Tianqiao)

We stayed for two nights at Nostalgia S Hotel (Beijing QianMen Tianqiao) and found it to be a comfortable, clean and well‑located base for exploring central Beijing. This hotel blends a light nostalgic theme with modern facilities, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere throughout the stay. The buffet breakfast offered good varieties, including both Chinese and simple Western options, which made mornings easy and convenient. • The dining area was clean and well‑organised. --- 🛏️ Room & Comfort • The room was clean, well‑maintained and thoughtfully designed, with a cosy retro style. • The bed was comfortable, and the room stayed quiet at night despite being in a busy district. • Air‑conditioning, hot water and Wi‑Fi all worked reliably. • Storage space was practical for a short stay. --- 🤝 Service & Staff • Staff were friendly, polite and helpful, making check‑in smooth and straightforward. • They were quick to assist with directions and local information. • Housekeeping was consistent and kept the room tidy. --- 📍 Location • The hotel is in Tianqiao, a traditional area just south of Qianmen. • It’s convenient for sightseeing - Temple of Heaven, Qianmen Street, and Tiananmen Square are all easy to reach. • Plenty of small eateries and local shops are within walking distance

Nice hotel with good amenities. The hotel also provides wet tissues, ear buds, hair pins, umbrellas at the lobby which are quite useful. They also provide water which was convenient as it was hot in Beijing. In terms of location, it is about 15 mins away from the nearby metro station

Great hotel and staff! The room was clean and silent and the location was great (also not so far from the subway, but Didi always have a good price). Good restaurants and market nearby.

Would have rated 5 for amenities if not for the less than satisfactory centrally controlled air-conditioning in the “upgraded” room on the 2nd floor, which made the room unbearably hot. The next day, we were given a new room on the 5th floor with independently controlled air-conditioning, which was how it should be in the first place. Appreciate the service recovery by the team. The free laundry service was also much appreciated as we could pack lighter.

This hotel was excellent in every way. I didn’t book breakfast, but the room quality was outstanding. The service and facilities were just as great . everything was super clean, and snacks, tea, and coffee were unlimited. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the train station. I’ve traveled to many countries, and I can confidently say that this hotel was exceptional. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I travel to Beijing.

everything about the hotel is pretty bad other than their service and the breakfast was also bad and i found a hair in the breakfast actually and there wasn't meat

Always choose this hotel whenever we travel to China, from Shanghai to Tianjin and Beijing, they offer the same good quality of services! Love their laundry services! The housekeeping team did a great job as the room is clean and tidy! The location is good as it’s just a 10 minutes walk to The Temple of Heaven. Highly recommend this hotel

Great location – walking distance to the Temple of Heaven, some small restaurants and a supermarket in 5-10min walking distance - what more do you need? The room on the 4th floor was spotlessly clean and modern (nice shower & high tech toilet 😁).Breakfast left nothing to be desired. What really stood out: the front desk team was exceptionally friendly and helpful – they even helped me get Alipay and WeChat up and running as I had issues. You rarely experience such attentive service! Clear recommendation for anyone looking to explore Beijing for a few days 👍

An incredible 4-night stay! The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the room itself is amazing with a fantastic shower, a built-in bidet, and a super comfortable bed for a great night's sleep 😍 The amenities are top-notch, featuring a gym, playground, and a stunning mini Peking opera photo zone with full costumes. The staff are incredibly helpful, and there was zero language barrier. Location is also very convenient, just a short walk to a Wumart hypermarket and Halal dining options. There's a fast food next door too, and a quick ride to most major spots outside of peak traffic. Honestly, nothing bad to say at all!
