A Fair Review of Our Beijing Two Night Stay at Plant Bouncing (Jumping) Hotely: My family and I just returned from a trip to Beijing this December. We wanted to share a completely honest review of our hotel experience, highlighting both the positives and the negatives we encountered. Our first impression was genuinely warm. Upon checking in, the receptionist and a helpful assistant welcomed us with kindness. After we finished the process, they even offered us water—a thoughtful gesture that made us feel cared for after a long journey. However, when I entered our room, my curiosity met reality. I was surprised by how compact it was. The room was quite small—so much so that two people couldn't comfortably stand behind the door at once. That said, everything was neat, tidy, and clean. The shared restrooms were also regularly cleaned and, for the price we paid, could be called perfect. The main challenges came at night. Our room had no window or ventilation, making the air feel very still. Combined with the lack of soundproofing, it made for a difficult night's sleep. Our door was positioned directly opposite the shared bathroom, which was quite disturbing. Every time someone used the hair dryer, it sounded like a heavy machine was running right next to us, and we could see light seeping through the gaps around our door. Compared to other budget accommodations I've experienced in northeast China, I'd rate the room itself a 6/10. Now, for the many positives, which truly mattered. The staff remained consistently friendly and cooperative throughout our stay. They happily stored our luggage since our room was too small to hold it all, which was a lifesaver. There was a common area with chairs, perfect for studying, chatting, or planning our days. While the water supply wasn't there on our first night (likely a simple replenishment error), it was available afterwards. A particularly kind touch was that they provided disposable toiletries—toothpaste, brushes, towels, and combs—on request. This small gesture was deeply appreciated. ❤️🌹

A perfect cosy stay in Beijing! I stayed here for 8 nights as a foreigner (EU passport) and it was perfect. The room, although small and without outside windows, was very good divided. Bed had a bit of a thin mattress, but it’s the standard here. However the blanket was very thick and good quality so you can use that. The staff, although nobody speaks English, was very kind with me. They did laundry (wash+dry) here for me 2 times for free. There is free drinking water. The showers and toilet area is clean and spacious. It’s a bit of a walk to Mudanyuan metro station, but you can use bikes with Alipay and you will be there in 10 minutes. I definitely recommend you this accommodation if you are looking for a cheap but good stay.

We spent a night in this hotel. Everything was good except the air conditioning. The room had central air conditioning, however it was not working and it was hot in the room. We also complained about it, but they didn't do anything. Could hardly sleep in the night, bad experience.

The room had no window, which I was aware of in advance, but there was absolutely no fresh air – no air conditioning, no ventilation in or out. My room was located directly opposite the shared toilet, and I had to sleep with my door open just to breathe, which is not comfortable or safe. I slept in a private room, which at least gave me some privacy. I woke up in the morning with a headache, so for anyone sensitive to air quality or stuffy spaces, this is important to know. If you are not very sensitive, it might be acceptable for one night, but personally I would not stay here again. The next night I moved to a normal hotel for 190 CNY, only 30 CNY more, with a better location closer to the city center, a proper window, and a private toilet, so the difference in comfort was huge for a very small extra cost. However, this hotel had a convenient location in terms of the metro line, making it easy for me to get to HICOOL
