Stayed over as part of a trip to the North East. Bedale placed just off the a1 so convenient. Parking was OK, just a little down the road based on where was available on the street but fine. We were showed to the room and it had everything you need really, possibly a little tight. Loved the old beam feature. Sleep was OK and thankfully turned down the radiator to a nice level so was comfortable. Breakfast pre ordered and was fine for me the night before. My full English had everything there really and tasted good. Partner's bap would have been better with non brioche and more bacon, didn't seem to be in comparison to mine. Coffee was thankfully nice in the cafetiere, sometimes not good to get right.

Clean hotel with great staff and an excellent bar/restaurant. Great location with plenty of shops/bars and restaurants within walking distance.

A great stay at the Green Dragon. Lovely pub with rooms in a great area. Room was decent for what I was after although with the hot weather, it did get pretty warm during the night. Very comfortable though, clean and nice decor.
The pub had a great selection of food and beers and I took advantage of both of these. Great home cooked food.
Service was great from check in, bar staff and also breakfast the following day.
Stay coincided with the England v Denmark Football Game and the bar had a few in but still plenty of space and service was very quick. Great atmosphere and lovely bar.
Breakfast also great quality in the conservatory and service quick.

Booked 1 X deluxe double and 2 X single. All rooms cosy and clean with modern ensuites. Such a quaint accommodation with lovely decor and private entrance to the High Street without having to go through the pub. Full English breakfast was more than adequate! Extremely good value for money in a wonderful little village.

Lovely top floor room with very comfortable bed and good shower. Nicely cooked breakfast (vegetarian options). Decent bar on ground floor, helpful staff. We'll placed in centre of Bedale. Parking outside quite busy but always got a space.

The Green Dragon has lovely friendly helpful staff, good food and quirky comfortable rooms.Market day is Tuesday and setting up outside below our room very early wasn't good. The only problem we had was we had about 30 stairs up to our room but we were aware that it wouldn't suit people with mobility problems.
