Hotel Tibet is a boutique hotel with outstanding customer service. It has been recently remodeled with very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. A full breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant on the ground floor. A dining room and bar is available on the top floor with a patio containing a view of the local area. The hotel is in a complex with a number of other four or five star hotels. It is close to excellent restaurants, tour operators, a supermarket and other small shops and businesses. As you check in you will receive a fresh juice. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly!

Très sympa propre cuisine très bonne personnel agréable chambre spacieuse luxueux et petites boutiques à côté..je le conseille vivement. Pour y accéder pas facile en bus.. extérieur très bien entretenu.. au calme . Petit buffet .. pas trop de chois mais suffisant

Hotel Tibet International has the friendliest, most professional staff of any hotel we have stayed at, and we are frequent travellers. We were given an upgrade for our extra long stay by Chief Operating Officer Pradhyumna, who was a constant source of information, help and generosity. His example was mirrored by all the staff - a wonderful team at reception, amazing restaurant and cafe staff, super efficient housekeeping, bell service, drivers and security staff. It was a highlight of our stay to talk with and get to know the wonderful staff. They restore your faith in human nature. The laundry service is quick and excellent. Hotel Tibet International is an interesting five minutes walk from the heritage listed Boudha Stupa. Your first view of the Stupa is when you walk out on to the seventh floor restaurant balcony. It is worth the trip to Kathmandu to see it.

We spent a total of five nights at Hotel Tibet at the start and end of our Nepal trip. We loved the hotel and staff who were the most helpful and polite I've every experienced. Narayan Thapa on the front desk was very helpful as were the staff who would greet us at the entrance upon our return from sightseeing, often calling us by name after a very short association. One day we walked into the restaurant and my husband said he was feeling a little cold. A few minutes later a glass of warm water was put in front of him. The rooms are comfortable and clean and there's a nice big safe in the rooms. The food was wonderful and I'm still dreaming of their mint lemonade. There is a lovely terrace on the fifth floor where you can order food - or you can enjoy the view from an attached closed in area with comfy sofas. Everyone's English is very good. There is a very handy ATM in the hotel next door with some nice shops just a few steps away selling both budget and higher end souvenirs. If I make it back to Kathmandu one day, I want to stay at Hotel Tibet again. It was a lovely place to come back to each day.
