Sanctum Una Una Eco Dive Resort

******************WARNING! WARNING! ************** I want to share my experiences of the contacts with the manager Cedrik at this resort. He is not serious, wants you to pay extra for things that should be included and gives incorrect information and lies! For a long time, we have wanted to go and dive at Sanctum Una una. We booked a holiday back in 2019 with the previous owner but due to the corona pandemic we never got going. We therefore planned another trip to Togean and Una una in September 2025. That is, in 7 months. Wanted to stay in the VIP room and therefore I contacted the accommodation directly, but the rooms were already booked. However, there were Seaview rooms to book with an additional fee for AC for a total of 3,750,000 idr (for divers/one dive per day) On *********** there is the same room where AC is included in the price for 3,800,000 idr which is not refundable. As I would like to book and pay in advance easily, I booked that option. I was therefore extremely surprised when I discovered an email where it appeared that we must pay extra for AC with 750,000 idr. I am immediately writing to the accommodation where the manager Cedrik announces that we must pay extra but that he could accept that we canceled if we wanted to. I then asked for a cancellation via *********** with a refund. Shortly afterwards I received a message that the accommodation does not accept cancellation with a refund. Cedrick now writes that he cannot agree to pay back and that he has changed his mind and that it is all our fault because I would have seen the message earlier and therefore have myself to blame. So my advice to anyone thinking of going to Sanctum Una una is don't book a non-refundable accommodation through ***********. Don't trust that it says AC is included in the price and don't think the owner will do anything to make his potential customers feel welcome or fix any problem. Cedrik could easily have booked other guests at the property when he has 7 months to find them, but he would rather make us feel unwelcome and advised us not to go to Togean because he didn't think it would suit us! He was also very clear that he would never give us a refund! After my contacts with the accommodation, I want to advise everyone against going there! You risk being treated in the same way as us. Nous avons quitté Una Una ,central Sulawesi ,ce matin 30/12/24 avec un pincement au cœur . Un grand merci Cédric à toi et ton équipe pour la qualité de l’accueil. Les encadrants du centre de plongée sont adorables avec une mention spéciale à Udhin et Ramon pour leur sourire , leur bonne humeur et leur professionnalisme. Nous étions dans les deux suites face à la mer : magique ! Les plongées tant en snorkeling qu’en bouteille sont superbes. N’hésitez pas à correspondre avec Cédric qui saura vous conseiller. Un grand bravo à Eric pour avoir réussi à aménager un resort confortable ( électricité 24h/24, wifi, distributeur d’eau fraîche, bateaux rapides et multiples détails que nous n’avons trouvé nulle part ailleurs aux Togian ainsi que pour son club de plongée. Excursion en scooter au volcan avec les jeunes du village à ne pas manquer. En réponse à Florian : Oui, Cédric aime les sous, Vous aussi semble t-il, mais lui les mérite bien. Des rats, je n’en ai pas vu, mais il y en a partout, et pas qu’aux Togian. Des cafards plutôt costauds et pas timides du tout également. Suffit de le savoir, de fermer ses sacs et valises et de n’y mettre aucune nourriture ou friandise. Sinon,.....Il y a Kuta ou Sanur à Bali.

I spent 10 days diving at Sanctum Una Una Eco Dive Resort, and while the staff were warm and friendly, and the food and drinks were satisfying given the island's limited resources, my overall experience was underwhelming. One major issue was the lack of enthusiasm from the owner, who didn’t seem to care much about the guests’ experience. If there were only two divers on the boat, they would only take you to dive sites a mere five minutes away, and slightly further if there were three divers. Even though the island’s farthest dive sites are just 15 minutes away, there was no flexibility or willingness to accommodate. In addition, both the owner and the front desk manager lacked the welcoming attitude you’d expect from a dive resort. I didn’t feel the hospitality typically found at similar resorts. They even forgot my pre-booked cabin, and when I tried to resolve the issue by calling from the boat, no one answered or offered any assistance. In summary, while this resort may have earned good reviews in the past, it feels like they no longer care about providing a great experience. Don’t set your expectations too high, as there aren’t many other options on the island.
