Premier Inn Livingston (Bathgate)

Stayed in premier plus rooms this time have to say they were lovely. Also have to mention Cara and David who made our stay extra special, nothing to much trouble and their manner is to be commended. Fabulous staff, always cheery. The location of the hotel is ideal for touring Scotland.

We stayed at Premier Inn Bathgate for two nights whilst up in Scotland visiting family. Easy to park on arrival, we used the self service check in due to arriving fairly late in the evening, this was easy to do. This Premier Inn has recently been refurbished, so the rooms are super modern, with a very comfy bed. The only downside was that the people staying in the room above us appeared to be extremely noisy, there was also a lot of noise at night from people outside the front of the hotel, however, we understand this is out of the hotels control. We’d definitely stay again, ideal as a base for a weekend away!

Room was good as usual , nicely decorated but the smell of the sewage was disguising, made me feel sick All night , seemed to get worse through the night , cant understand how premier would think it’s acceptable to rent room out , surely someone must be checking ????

This was the best Premier Inn we have ever stayed in. All of the staff we spoke to throughout our stay were incredibly friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast each day was fantastic, the food was so fresh and the restaurant so clean, I only wish I could have eaten more! The room itself was lovely, we stayed in a Premier Plus room and I couldn't fault it. Thank you!

Excellent hotel with excellent service very easy to check in very clean and very friendly staff. Room was excellent and d the price was very reasonable for our length of stay. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely destroyed by the closure of the restaurant. Another example of the closing down restaurants and replacing them with mediocre classless feeding rooms. The whole family pub is what used to sell premier inn's. Not anymore, they have decided to close down most of the Beefeaters and Brewers Fayres and replace them with premier inn restaurants that are only open to hotel guests (when they're open at all) most of the staff have left. Now what you have is an cold empty pub, with only a handful of guests, choosing nasty food from a shrunken down menu. There is absolutely NO ATMOSPHERE at all. Honestly, its like a travel lodge now, just without the migrants. The CEO needs to resign and the shareholders need to read this. Get rid of that lame duck CEO now before you reduce your business to nothing more than a footnote in the history of hotels.
