We had an absolutely amazing stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bath! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful, and although we arrived early, our rooms were already prepared and we were allowed to check in early—such a lovely surprise!
The warm, freshly made cookies on arrival were a delicious treat, and we were also welcomed with drinks and popcorn, which was especially appreciated on such a hot day. We had booked three rooms, and all of them were perfect—spotlessly clean, tidy, and very comfortable.
We were there to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised us with complimentary drinks, balloons, and even mini desserts, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture.
The restaurant staff were just as impressive—so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of options to suit everyone.
Overall, it was an incredible stay. Thank you to all the amazing staff at DoubleTree by Hilton Bath for making our visit so memorable. Highly recommend!
I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bath to celebrate my child’s 18-month milestone, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing.

To begin with, our room was not cleaned until 5:30 PM. After returning from a day of travel, I had to make multiple requests for housekeeping. Even then, the room was not properly cleaned—items were still on the floor and the bathroom tissue box was left open. Since I was traveling with a toddler, I had to clean the room myself to ensure it was safe.
There were no water bottles, cups, or glasses provided in the room. When I called to request these items—mentioning I needed them to prepare a feed for my child—it took far too long for anyone to respond. I had to call several times, and on some occasions, no one answered the phone at all.
That evening, I accidentally left my baby’s feeding bottle in the lobby. I called the reception and was assured someone would check and get back to me. No one followed up, and the bottle was never returned.
At check-out, the receptionist mentioned that the hotel was short-staffed. While I understand staffing challenges, that should not affect the basic standard of service expected at a Hilton property.
Additionally, I called Hilton customer care the following morning and raised a complaint. I was assured that a colleague would send me a follow-up email, but I have not received anything to date. Please note that this was an international call and lasted over 15 minutes—you should have the call on record.
I am extremely disappointed. I booked with Hilton because of its prestigious reputation, expecting a comfortable and reliable experience for my family. Unfortunately, this stay fell far short of expectations. Guests invest their time, trust, and hard-earned money into these experiences, and this one was truly disheartening.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution.
