Travelodge Cardiff Airport

Clean, quiet, simple. Very close to the airport which is just what we wanted. Didn't need to use it but theres a Toby carvery just out of front door....receptionist Natalie was superb warm welcoming and informative. Thank you will be back😊

Really comfortable hotel with friendly and approachable staff. It’s within walking distance of Barry which has plenty of places to eat and drink as well as a glorious beach. The Toby Carvery next to the hotel was a great spot for a night cap. We will definitely return!

I use this budget friendly hotel twice a month to visit family. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds, proper shower, not over bath which is wonderful. The staff are always helpful and welcoming. This week Josh and Chris were the welcome teams. An excellent stop for the weary traveller.

We have just got back from a three week stay at this hotel. There was nothing that we could complain about. From check in which went very smoothly to checking out everything was great. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel inside and out was spotlessly clean,tidy and smelt very fresh. Help was offered to carry our cases upstairs and we were always asked if everything was okay and did we need anything. The room was big and airy and had everything that we needed. The manager Annmarie was lovely and helpful and the supervisor Chris was always very pleasant to us. Very professional in his job and the standard of his work was way above anything that you could possibly imagine. Chris is a total credit to the company and because of him and the manager we are looking at coming again next year. We have also recommended this hotel to numerous people. Wow, what can I say. First off this is a cheap and cheerful Travelodge, do not go here if you are expecting luxury. However it is immaculate and has all the basics! It is quiet and relaxing considering how close you are to the road and airport. There is free parking. The biggest bonus though is the staff, i am so sorry I can't remember everyone's name, I do remember Chris. These guys are amazing, they are so friendly and helpful when you arrive, they introduce themselves and the team that are on and tell you everything you need to know. Their customer service is second to none, I've stopped in every type of hotel going and NOBODY has beaten these guys. And it wasn't a generic, rehersed script, they came across as genuine and authentic. Everytime you saw them they had a smile and a little chat. You kinda of forgot it was a travelodge as it was so personal. I don't know if Travelodge do awards but these guys need one. Personally I have had a difficult couple of months and took a trip to Cardiff after needing to have a change of scenery, these guys might not know the impact they have, but they absolutely made my weekend. Well done xxx
