Had a brilliant trip to barnsley and a lovely stay at premier inn . Staff was all very professional and helpful including housekeeping. The rooms was spotless and the beds was super comfortable and very tidy on arrival. Housekeeping was very happy to get us extra towels will be returning

Really enjoyed my stay at Premier inn would definitely return and fetch my family and friends . The rooms was immaculate and very comfortable the beds are like sleeping on a cloud , all staff including housekeeping was all very professional and helpful during my stay and made me feel very welcome

Had a lovely stay at Premier inn , rooms were spotless and bed was super comfortable. Staff was very professional and very helpful on check in and nothing was to much also the housekeeping team was very helpful when we asked for extra towels I will be definitely returning I'm the near future

The Glasshouse Restaurant & Bar attached to the Premier Inn Barnsley Central was totally unsatisfactory. Firstly, on a Friday afternoon celebrating a 60th birthday, and prior to a weekend where Barnsley were playing at home and a hen-night weekend taking place, there was a number of draught beers (Guinness & Madri) unavailable until Monday at the very earliest, so we drank else where. Breakfast on Saturday & Sunday morning were both unsatisfactory: no decaf coffee available until Monday morning at the very earliest, and it was even suggested to go out and buy some decaf coffee ourselves! Only scrambled eggs, not able to provide fried or poached eggs, of which we waited over 20-minutes from ordering, and the order for four people wasn't even what we had ordered, so we sent the order back to the kitchen. The staff seemed like they were making it up as they went along on Saturday morning - disorganised, with some sort of leadership within the team on Sunday morning, though not much better, our order was again not what we had ordered. Friends and ourselves couldn't get checked out and drive back home - never going back to Barnsley again.

Our family has stayed in the Premier Inn, on a number of family occasions. The location of the hotel was very convenient for ourselves and guests who were attending our wedding at Barnsley Town Hall. There is a large, reasonably priced car-park.

First time at this particular Premier Inn and first time in Barnsley. James in reception was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. Claire and Georgia were extremely pleasant throughout our two night stay, the restaurant was very busy on Sunday morning with a fully booked hotel and they remained pleasant and efficient throughout.
