Hotel Caesius Thermae & Spa Resort

This is the third time my husband and I have visited this hotel. It's a fantastic hotel with superb food and facilities plus excellent staff. The food is superb. Typically, dinner consists of a salad course to start, a pasta course, a main course and then a great choice of desserts, fruit or cheese. There is an outdoor and indoor pool plus thermal spas, saunas, steam room and spa treatments. It's about a mile walk into Bardolino and a couple of miles to Lazise, both really nice places to walk to and then enjoy an Aperol Spritz! This is the third time we've been to this hotel and we'll come back many more times.

Ciao, che dire... Son stato in questa struttura più di una volta, e col passare del tempo la vedo sempre peggiore. Dalla gestione in primis, sempre più cose che non vanno (luci, sporco che una volta non c'era, piccole imperfezioni nella struttura...). So che c'è stato un cambio ai piani alti ma non vedo le migliorie. Tanti dipendenti che vedevo e "conoscevo" ora non ci sono più, ma per fortuna alcuni son ancora presenti perché secondo me son quelle che fan meglio il loro lavoro e fan si che il soggiorno sia piacevole. Gabriele del ristorante, sempre accorto e presente; Mariama della piscina, pronta ad aiutare e organizzare, sempre attenta agli ospiti, vista più di una volta risolvere problemi e fare medicazioni (peccato che quest'anno non faccia acqua gym), è una dipendente d'oro.

We stayed at the Caesius during the first week of August and the first thing I have to mention, which you will hopefully ascertain by reading the reviews is that this is not as per the Tripadvisor A.I. description a "rowdy Hotel". This is completely misleading and should be removed as it could not be further from the truth. We had the most relaxing and stress free experience you could imagine and would recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a double room in the main building on the top floor, which I'd recommend, as it had lovely views of the pool area and lake. It was a very spacious room with a huge comfortable bed. You could hear a pin drop at night so we slept soundly throughout our stay. Without exception the.staff were friendly and efficient especially in the restaurant. Massive thanks to Gabrielle & Roberto for the delightful reception we received every evening at dinner. We enjoyed all the meals we had as they were superbly prepared and presented. Breakfast was also excellent with a great range of options. There is relaxed musical entertainment 3 nights during the week which was enjoyable. Some may find the other evenings very quiet but with Lazise and Bardolino so close by it is easy to visit other bars for.entertainment if you wish. The pool area is fantastic with waiter service, no loud music and no inflatables or ball games allowed. No jumping in is permitted either so if you want a more raucous environment than this I'd look elsewhere. Having said that there was a good sprinkling of families with well behaved children who appeared to be enjoying themselves at the hotel. While we were there the guests were mainly British, German & Dutch with a few other nationalities. The location of the hotel is excellent, just a 10 minute walk to Cisano and a 20 minute walk to Bardolino along the lovely lakeside promenade. Another massive positive during our stay is that few if any guests felt the need to reserve a sunbed by the pool at silly o'clock. There are lots of sunbeds with umbrellas and we never failed to find a nice spot even in August. The only area where I think some improvement could be made is the main bar. The staff are lovely but on occasion we had to wait too long to be served.. Otherwise this hotel is a gem if you want a high quality relaxing holiday near a beautiful lakeside town.

I think this was our 4th or 5th visit to this lovely hotel, sadly writing this whilst watching the sun set from our balcony on our last night. It was our 36th wedding anniversary & we were treated to balloons and confetti by the hotel, which was a surprise & very much appreciated. The hotel is located less than 0.3 mile from Cisano (flat paved walk) where there is a small selection of restaurants and bars, also a stop for the boats, although they are less frequent here than the larger town of Bardolino. Timetables for the boats are available from the hotels reception. Bardolino is an easy, flat 20 minute walk along the lake front, where there is an abundance of shops and restaurants. The hotel also runs a free shuttle bus into Bardolino if you prefer this option. The hotel has a variety of different rooms, we have mostly stayed in a lake view room, but once we did have a side lake view room, which although it had a side on view of the lake, it mainly faced the hotel Maxamillion. The rooms are very clean, equipped with a shower over the bath, slippers, bathrobes, tea & coffee making facilities, shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, body lotion, hair dryer, safe, mini bar, TV and a very comfortable bed. The rooms are quiet and despite the hotel (like most of them) being on a road, there was very little road noise, none at all once inside the bedroom. Outdoor pool areas are plentiful & lovely, always seemed to be sun loungers available and drink were available to order from your sunbed or at the pool bar. We stayed on a B&B basis this time and the quality and variety of food was second to none, even a separate childrens section, with kiddies plates, sweets and kids cereals. The staff are wonderful, always happy to help and care about the guests. We shall definitely be returning! I should have mentioned there is a supermarket about 5 mins walk away, to the right if you are looking at the lake. We also enjoyed a visit to Zeni wine museum and also the Olive oil museum, both come highly recommended.

Abbiamo soggiornato per un we in fuga dalla routine quotidiana con l’aspettativa di rilassarci. Una prenotazione in last minute che ha più che soddisfatto le Ns aspettative. Lo stile e il tipo di arredamento non incontrano il mio gusto ma tutta la struttura, enorme e con più ambienti, é curata nei dettagli e ben organizzata. Opportunità di usare il garage e la ricarica elettrica (da pagare in reception con loro tariffa, fair). Reception ampia e funzionale con un buono standard di professionalità. Noi avevamo prenotato una stanza vista lago, le stanze sono posizionate con una visione laterale del lago, uno scorcio…. Balconcino funzionale e stanza comoda, con un letto e cuscini più che confortevoli. Trovi amenities utili alla tua permanenza, accappatoi, ciabattine, borsa mare e asciugamani. In piscina e nel centro benessere puoi richiedere altri asciugamani. Il centro benessere con acqua termale é enorme e con ogni tipo di esperienza e proposta. Molto bello e rilassante. La colazione é ampia e variegata con prodotti già preparati e altri offerti con modalità espressa. Hai l’imbarazzo della scelta. Abbiamo anche cenato e pranzato a buffet in hotel. La cosa che ci ha colpito è la qualità dei prodotti di base utilizzati (verdure, frutta). La piscina ha una parte con idromassaggi e una sezione molto ampia per nuotare. Il tutto attrezzato con lettini, ombrelloni e possibilità di servizio bar. Per i bambini c’è una piscina dedicata e un’area giochi in hotel. Il prrsonale é professionale e attento alle tue esigenze. Vista la positiva esperienza siamo certi di ritornare in futuro a godere di relax, confort e tranquillità.
