"I had a wonderful stay at Fili Hotel and was truly impressed from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully designed, with modern interiors and a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere. Every detail, from the lobby to the rooms, feels thoughtfully curated and elegant.
The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the amenities provided made the stay even more convenient and relaxing. I also appreciated the peaceful ambiance, which made it easy to unwind.
The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Their hospitality truly made the experience memorable.
The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, which I appreciated. While there were many options available, I feel there is still a little room for improvement in terms of selection and variety. That said, the food was fresh and nicely prepared.
Overall, Fili Hotel exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cebu, and I’m definitely looking forward to staying here again!"

My mother checked in a couple of days just before Christmas as she had to undergo an important medical check up at the Cebu Doctors Hospital which is just a two-minute walking distance away. This hotel is the newest addition to hospitality facilities within the Capitol Site area. Although dubbed “mini” in size, the room is visibly spacious for double occupancy, provided with very clean private toilet with hot and cold bath, open type clothes cabinet with shelves for things, and a built-in safety deposit box. Their dining area, which is accessible by stairs or by elevator at the second floor, serves free breakfast, affordable combo meals, and free drinking water to fill the pitcher in the hotel room. The dining hall also has a billiards table and entertainment area. Being located in the heart of the bustling City of Cebu, a traveller can transact business with nearby Government offices, stroll and score one’s favorites at popular shopping malls of Ayala, SM, and Robinsons, dine at restaurants just beside the hotel, and explore notable tourist spots within and beyond the city. "Hrmmm this one is a tricky one as we had a few unexplained situations.
Firstly, the hotel itself was previously a Marriot 5-Star back in the day prior to be taken over in 2018 by the Seda Group.
Secondly, there is so much ongoing renovation and construction that you need to be aware of; Noise coming from New Construction, the in hotel pool is unavailable from Feb-2025 and guests must walk across the street to another organisation's pool. Unfortunately this was a deal breaker for us. The food was average with cheaper and better tasting food located just minutes away by walking through the carpark.
Overall the guest lounge (located on level 12) is a bonus but is super budget, not 4-Star Material.
P.S. There is no rooftop bar, only a lounge overlooking a construction site.
P.S.S The House of Lechon is 5 mins by Grab which is a plus."

"The location was good.. Near to IT Park and Ayala Mall. 7/11 is at the ground floor. Many restaurants and cafés nearby you won't get hungry. Room size is actually big and spacious for 1 person And clean . The food was good though it was limited to 3 dishes. However,
1. I stayed for 2nights and nobody cleaned up my room even though I put the sign outside the door. There was a cleaner I met at the ground floor though.
2. The bathroom hot shower is not functioning so i have to deal with the cold water in the cold room
3. The water is stocked on the floor after bath and it won't completely subside even the next days.
4. The blanket is too thin . I recommend to bring your own blanket next time
5. The aircon looks old and dirty and it was soooo noisy.
6. My room is near the elevator and 100% you'll hear the indian students/residents shouting and playing before and after riding the elevator.
7. The wifi is toooo slow and the room has limited mobile signal too. Good thing I still managed to finish my online class even though the signal was on and off.
Anyways, it was a good experience to stay in a budget hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay at Lex Hotel Cebu from September 4–7. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast buffet—it was impressive with so many food choices. From fresh vegetable salads, puto sikwate, and main dishes like lechon belly and beef, to live cooking stations where you can request pasta or omelets, plus a wide variety of breads, croissants, and desserts. It was a perfect way to start each day.
As returning guests, we also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of receiving coupons for free drinks and a round of table pool. It made us feel valued and welcomed back.
The staff deserve special mention—they were very accommodating, always ready to assist, and made every request easy to handle.
There were a couple of minor downsides: in our room, we could hear some traffic noise from the road, although it became tolerable after a while. The basement parking lot was also a bit tight, especially for larger vehicles like our Ford Ranger. Fortunately, the staff were always there to help guide us in maneuvering, which made it manageable.
Overall, Lex Hotel Cebu remains a great choice with excellent service, delicious food, and warm hospitality. We’ll gladly stay here again."

We stayed at Seda during the weekend to celebrate valentine's day. Room stay was good, and we were allowed late check out at 1pm.
Gym is not big but good enough. Theres also a pool.
Location is good
Breakfast buffet could be better as food was quite oily.
All in all, would stay in Seda again if we return here in the future.

My family and I had a great time staying there for a few days.
Lovely was truly lovely—it really suited her name. She was the most accommodating from the very start. We wanted to thank her again during check-out, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to see her. She went above and beyond in hospitality, and you’re lucky to have her. Keep up the great work.
As for breakfast—OMG, we loved it! Special mention to the one who makes the coffee. Just a small note: it would be nice to improve or change the chafing dishes so the food stays hot. Other than that, the food and service were great.
I will definitely choose this hotel from now on, as we always stay in the city for a few days before heading to our rest house.
See you again soon, and thank you for the birthday cake and balloons!

I was surprised to see that this is the former Hostel 7, which I have never visited before but I have heard so much about. Positive reviews, yes. I stayed here for one night. Though the structure is quite old, the cleanliness very much compensated for it. The people are amazing too! Very hospitable, fun, and accommodating. The bar is open 24/7. Just a few steps from the hostel is a restaurant (part of Casa Rosario) and a 7/11. This is located near Saint Theresa's College and is within walking distance to Mango Avenue and Fuente Osmeña Circle. It'll be interesting to stay here for more than just one night and just explore the neighborbood.

We booked 2 nights In the Business class suite it was my bday & after typhoon tino . I’ve been staying in Radisson since 2010 & there service never change. Still very accommodating, friendly & helpful.. except for this one staff in the business class lounge . I arrived 2 min early in the lounge and I start to put food on my plate and he stopped me and literally told me U CANT eat yet As it’s not 5pm sharp!! And he literally pass by me and served water on all the guests glass except me!! The next morning my family went before 7am and all staffs are nice and He wasn’t there and snack time they went early again and he was so nice to them and served them water and coffee.. at evening I went with my whole family and he smiled at me and ddnt serve us water again!! Hes a lil chubby and Chinese eyes wearing black uniform . The reception guy blue uniform is very nice & he was so friendly and accommodating to all of us. My mom is a 71yr old senior & sometimes she needs help but this reception guy was really helpful except for that one rude staff

Minulla oli suuri oleskelu! Palvelu oli todella mukava ja henkilöstö oli kaikki ystävällinen ja majoitus. Käyttötilat olivat vaikuttavia erityisesti kuntosalilla, joka oli hämmästyttävästi puhdas ja hyvin ylläpidetty. Ruoka oli erinomainen, monia vaihtoehtoja valita. Check in and check out was very quick and service was excellent from all employees. The hotel itself is pretty standard and ordinary but great value. They have a well heated bathtub. Rooftop bar was a little smaller than i expected but twas still pretty overlooking the city. They had a band the night we stayed which was a Saturday. And most importantly, free parking is available in front of the hotel and basement. Buffet was decent as well. The staff was very accommodating. Thank you for having me and my little family.

The room is very spacious and clean. The staffs are friendly and approachable. The aircon is not that cold, but the bed is very comfortable. The pillows are soft too. The breakfast food is delicious too. The room service is fast.

I loved my room. It was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The shower had great hot water and strong pressure, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the AC worked well. Most of the staff were attentive and helpful, except at the front desk, which was disappointing.
Check-in was at 2 pm. Instead of waiting in the lobby, I let them know I would be at the café and asked to be informed once my room was ready. However, even after 2 pm, I had to return to the lobby myself and still wait before the room was given to me.
During check-out, I checked out early and was told to take a seat while they processed my deposit. I waited 30 minutes, and if I hadn’t followed up again, I believe I would have waited even longer as they seemed to have completely forgotten I was waiting.
Aside from these front desk issues, the rest of my stay was terrific.

I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Poor service. First time in my life I got to use the bidet as shower. We called the receptionist for our complain about the unbearable hot temperature of their shower and we are told that they will call the engineering dept.to respond to the issue. But after almost an hour of waiting (imagine, I already got my body pre-showered,because I stopped when I felt that the water is so hot) we got a call asking if we will be extending our stay. And luckily, it was my husband who answered the call. And calmly replied, “No, we will be checking out in a moment”. Because if I were the one who got the chance to answer the call, then I will say “we will definitely not extending our stay. And never to come again.”
I decided to just use the bidet as shower so we can leave the place.
I hope this will not happen to anybody.
Their price doesnt justify the means.
