"This hotel is strategically located close to the Avenues Mall. Attached to this mall (and closest entrance to the hotel) is Lulu Hypermarket -an amazing supermarket with local and international brands, and a fantastic bakery. This mall is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. However, you do have walk along the road as the sidewalk / footpath does not exist. But this is only for 300 metres. In fact you can get off the street, but it is gravel/ construction site, so you shoes will be messy. Uber and Grab do not exist in Oman. However, the hotel has two or three taxi drivers that will you take you anywhere. They use set rates, rather than a meter. For example Hotel to Airport run is 8 is Omani Rial (US $20). While this hotel is great for shopping, it is not the best for major attractions of Muscat. The main historical sites of Alam Palace, Ai Mirania Fort and National Museum is 21 kms from the hotel. About 10 Omani Rial is each way by taxi. However, there are very few hotels in this area, so most people stay in hotels near Malls in Oman. This is some form of Public Transport in Muscat, but it can be hard for tourists to use without changing to another bus or long walks. For example, the Royal Opera House is 10 kms from hotel. By using public transport this would require a 2.5 kms walk. The hotel rooms are quite spacious and feature comfortable lounge style chairs. The hotel is located near an expressway /motorway, but good soundproofing means this is not an issue. I was of level 3 and could just see the ocean in the distance (right) and the mall (to left). They do have ocean view room (more expensive higher up the building). The TV is very disappointing - small & old with fuzzy channels. Fortunately, the internet is great, so viewing most programs on the computer. The rooftop has great swimming pool and bar, but maybe a little too cold to swim with highs of about 22-23 C in winter. Staff at receptionist are very obliging. I can definitely recommend this hotel for shopping and good base to experience Muscat. However, as mentioned, it is long way from the major tourists attraction of the city and taxi is required."

"Wonderful experience, the staff friendly and helpful. The other branch has the better location and breakfast could use some upgrades ie. More variety and healthier options, fresh juice, proper beef bacon and sausages, more salad options and different fruits( it was very limited) but wonderful service from the restaurant staff, they tried so hard to make the ideal eggs for me 😊 shout out to Aamir he was very attentive and polite."

"I don't think our floors were cleaned even once during our 5-day stay at the hotel. The bedsheets haven't been changed too. The housekeeping staff had been reusing the same towel for the bathroom floor for the whole five days, and by the end of our trip it was looking really dirty. The other big issue is noise. Our room was on the third floor and the windows were facing the cafe down below, where they kept blasting music until up to 2am. The dinner buffet, for some reason, only had plain water as a drink option. I don't think that providing at least some soft drinks or juices is that expensive for a four-star hotel that is a part of the Marriott hotel chain, especially for the price of 11 OMR per person. On the positive note, the hotel personnel were exceptionally nice and helpful, and they completed all of our requests in a timely manner. We also found the interior design to be quite pleasant. The blackout curtains in the room did an excellent job at blocking out the bright sun in the morning. The pool is really good as well."

"My experience in Haffa House The staff are very friendly, helpful, and kind, Their great attitude made my experience very pleasant so thank you for that! I just wanted to suggest a couple of things: It would be nice to have more variety in the breakfast For guests staying several days having the same breakfast every morning can get a bit boring. As a woman who wears the hijab, I couldn’t really enjoy the swimming pool. I think it would be great if there could be a couple of hours in the morning just for women, so everyone can have the chance to use the pool comfortably."

"Good, clean hotel! Very near airport. Room service was good. Close enough to main road to try and get normal taxis. Really nice pool with a better than expected infinity pool and view. Really nothing much to complain if I just wanted a well priced, well sited, clean and adequate hotel with a bar, pool, and gym. Service apartments (what I stayed in) are more functional than the main rooms and have more space but puzzlingly, other than the dining table, there’s no study table or dresser or mirror in the bedroom which is a tad annoying as you can’t connect the hair dryer in the toilet for obvious reasons Aesthetic is somewhat sterile though. No interesting design motif and looks rather bland but that doesn’t affect me as much. There’s a bar there although the design, again, doesn’t leave one feeling as if it’s Friday night out."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Collection in Muscat. From the moment we arrived, the reception team provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. During our stay, we visited Qureshi restaurant, where both the food and service were amazing. A special thanks to Ashwani, who gave us excellent recommendations that made the experience even better. We also dined at Omny restaurant, where the chefs did a fantastic job preparing seafood exactly as per our request. The staff, especially Sonia and Amir, were warm, attentive, and looked after us throughout the meal. We also appreciated the hospitality from the manager, Shiva, which made the experience even more memorable. The only area that could be improved was the breakfast service. Unfortunately, the staff did not seem very engaged or friendly, even though the restaurant was not busy at the time. Aside from breakfast, everything else about our stay—from the reception to the restaurants—was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our time at the Radisson Collection and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you once again .."
