"We had a good stay in this hotel for a couple of days. The room is good sized, clean. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Although it's not at the center of the city, it's easy to get to the center by public transport, and there are few restaurants and supermarket nearby. It's definitely value for money for the same quality of accommodation in Bordeaux."

A bit quirky modern decoration, but the room is quite big, and everything is super clean with helpful staffs at all time (can feel the Marriott signature here). Gina restaurant on level 9 is not bad at all though a relatively limited a la carte menu (restaurant is also breakfast place with a very good breakfast buffet). There is also an indoor pool on level 9, great for winter though level of chlorine was quite high (so you don't soak as long as u wish?). I have not used the Gym, but equipments are aplenty and seems inbgood condition. Very good modern and functional hotel, only 10mins drive from downtown Bordeaux.

The location is good, close to the wine museum and easy access to public transportation. However, it took 20-30 to reach central location where most of the attractions are located.
The hostel itself is good, clean, and friendly atmosphere. The lounge area is quite big, a lot of space to relax. Bed and bathroom are clean.

第一次去波爾多參加紅酒馬拉松 。這是我喜歡的兩件事情！法國人的低效和鬆弛以及略帶高傲的姿態是我喜歡不起來的原因 這家餐廳最後發現是個日本餐廳，憑本事選你喜歡的酒的話還是不錯的，但是最後沒有熱主食 破例給我住了一碗法國日式的中國蔬菜掛麪 ！最後第二天發生了我的波士頓馬拉松的紀念夾克沒有了 另外結賬多收我2700多歐元 説是收錯了 一開始還不肯給我賬單 最後發現收錯了我差點報警 才承認錯誤 這個問題始終處於不了了之狀態 攜程的溝通也是蒼白無力 看起來攜程在海外尤其歐洲這樣的地區還不夠有影響力 順便還提一嘴 停車費一晚40歐元…

Positive: fantastic location just off the main shopping street. Near shops, restaurants, pubs etc And less than 50m from a branch of Bordeaux’s famous caneles shop La Toque Cuivree. (Don’t leave with trying a few!)
Slight negative: it’s in a pedestrian only street.
We weren’t affected but if you need to handle bulky luggage, the taxis can’t drive up to the hotel’s doorstep and you have to walk 100m or so.
Negative: the bathroom shower area was on a raised platform and wasn’t fully enclosed. The shower tile flooring became slippery once wet, and this made stepping up and down an exercise in caution.

The hotel is situated in an ideal area close to many shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Be aware that you cannot park outside the hotel. It is best to contact the hotel and ask for the name of the parking garage that you can get a discount to park in.
The room is a good size and our balcony had a decent view. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is well-appointed. Toothbrushes and other hygiene products are not available in the room.
The value for money is quite good, considering the location. The staff is very polite and helpful.

The hotel is right across the road from the train station and tram/bus stops. I had a nice stay except for two things. First, the tap/shower water was too hot. A hotel staff showed me how to adjust the water temperature and said it was like this all in France. I of course disagree. I had stayed in two ibis hotels in Paris and Nantes just before checking in this Mercure. I had stayed in countless hotels throughout my 30 years of travels in Europe and had never encountered this ”scalding water” issue. In any case, the solution was to let the water run an exceptionally long time till the very hot water ran out. Then I could adjust the temperature. I come from a place where people treasure fresh water and find this unacceptable. As the hotel take international guests, perhaps there should be notices/instructions in the bathroom on how to deal with this ”scalding water” issue.
Second, the coffee provided in the room was below expectation. A 4-star hotel should do better than that. I was glad about the kettle in the room, though.

I stayed here for total 6 nights. Great location with easy access to everything. The hospitality was excellent — staff were helpful, warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Facilities were clean and well-maintained, making the stay very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great hotel in Bordeaux! Very nice, well-located, super clean, good amenities and the staff were super friendly. I would have given a 10/10, but although breakfast was good the scrambled eggs at breakfast were made with powdered eggs instead of real eggs . That said, the fact that this is my only complaint shows just how good the hotel really is!

🟢 The location was very convenient and easy to travel around. We parked there and then used the tramway to get around. Convenient and easy. The inside of the building looks fresh and good. The rooms were quite big so we could spread everywhere. Surprised to see the toilets and showers separated, but enjoyable. Large choice for the breakfast for 18€ but had to wait sometimes for refill.
🔴 the staff wasn't really friendly except if you were the one to do your approach and talk to them. There was an alarm early morning during our stay and no-one was at the reception to greet us and tell us if we had to evacuate or anything. When we (other clients and us) told the réceptionnist it wasn't normal she got upset and replied back instead of apologising or anything. The staff didn't know what they were supposed to do in this case. Not reassuring if there's an actual fire someday.
🟡 cleaning wasn't amazing but could have been worse so no comment on that.

Hôtel parfaitement situé,service de bagagerie très très pratique,personnel charmant,au calme malgré la proximité du tramway
A revoir la propreté des chambres malheureusement,nous y avons séjourné 2 nuits mais la chambre n a pas été nettoyé les draps tout juste tirés avec le lit plus ou moins fait,les toilettes pas nettoyé,la moquette de la chambre pas aspiré et il manquait également une serviette que nous avons dû aller récupérer a l accueil donc a revoir quand même pour un 4 etoiles
