"This hotel is not centrally located but it commands good river view ( 晉江 ). It is dated and needs immediate full refurbishment. The quality of breakfast in the cafe is very poor, and there is room for improvement in respect of the service of some staffs. However, I have to express my appreciation of the execellant service extended to us by Miss Lisa Yang, the restaurant manger, who offered to buy for us sugar-free yogurt when she learned that we don’t take sugar-added yogurt due to health issues. The Chinese restaurant is a bright spot in the hotel. The food and service provided there is sumptuous and outstanding. "Our double-bed room is interesting and big. The hardware is a tiny bit worn down but doesn’t affect our comfort. Service is good. The surrounding area is unbeatably wonderful. Amazing food, shopping, services… anything you might want. The architecture style and cultural attractions within short walking distance will keep you occupied for several days. One major boo boo was the breakfast. They gave us a coupon to eat a terrible breakfast (only fried bread and congee, no choices) at KFC. For how much we paid for the room, almost $80usd a night, I do expect a little better than that."

"Front desk : not 5 star hotel standard. No greeting during check in. Check out 2 days early yet front desk just ask to put the room card at counter. Not even interested to know the reason. Room : hot like summer and it is centralised control. Even off the air conditioning temperature still same. Restaurant : only 1 is available"
