"In town for a JFL show. Location was very convenient and the rom was immaculate. Resto on ground floor is very nice for a convenient meal of quick snack after travel and check-in. Staff are very pleasant and professional and were quick to accomodate our request for a room with a bathtub. My wife likes to soak after the travel part.. had a pleasant special effects surprise at bedtime when the streetlights below penetrated above the curtain/drape rod and produced a bit of a light show on the ceiling. Not enough to interfere with sleep and just right as a night light for the mid night trips to the washroom. All in all very nice hotel in a very convenient downtown location at a reasonable price"

"Samesun on hyvä ja edullinen perushostelli, joka sijaitsee kätevästi Montrealissa. Hostelli houkuttelee yleensä nuorempaa väestöä, mutta keski-ikä on silti 18–35-vuotiaat, ja paikan päällä oleva baari on melko suosittu. Hintaan sisältyvä aamiainen on yllättävän kelvollinen, ja tarjolla on bageleita, vohveleita, kahvia, mehua ja muroja sekä muffineja. Aamiainen on saatavilla muistaakseni klo 7.30–10, mutta yritin aina tulla paikalle aikaisin, koska tein vapaaehtoistyötä Montrealin sarjakuvatapahtumassa ja halusin hyvän aamiaisen ennen päivän aloittamista. Hostelli on lähellä, mutta se on myös hieman kaupungin karuimmalla alueella, ja yöllä siellä voi olla kodittomia, mutta useimmat ovat suhteellisen vaarattomia. Rakennus on vanhempi, mutta sängyt ovat mukavat ja olen pidempi kaveri ja pystyin silti nukkumaan sängyissä hyvin. Olin sekamakuusalissa, ja ainoa valituksen aihe oli yksi kylpyhuone ja se, että sisäänkirjautumisen yhteydessä ei vain anneta pyyhettä, vaan se on pyydettävä tai tuotava oma. Keittiön yhteydessä on toinen kylpyhuone suihkulla, ja se auttaa, jos huoneessasi oleva on kiireinen. Toisena yönä joku siivooja oli mielestäni sammuttanut ilmastoinnin, mutta oli helppo selvittää, miten se kytketään takaisin päälle ja milloin se on päällä, huoneet ovat mukavia. Ilman sitä oli kuitenkin tunkkainen ja kuuma. Pidin ja arvostin todella tarjottua laukkusäilytystä, koska minun piti kirjautua ulos klo 15, mutta Megabusini oli vasta klo 12.30... mutta pystyin säilyttämään laukkuani noin klo 22 asti ja sitten noutamaan sen ja jatkamaan matkaani. Vaikka tässä hostellissa ei ole poreallasta tai kaikkia muiden mukavuuksia, jos tarvitset vain hyvän huoneen ja kunnollisen aamiaisen, tämä paikka täyttää tarpeesi enemmän kuin hyvin."

"The hotel room was very spacious and well-designed with a large comfortable bed. There’s also a sauna with a beautiful view of the city skyline. The location is just north of Berri-UQAM station which makes travel convenient, although the area itself isn’t particularly safe and during the summer months, it’s clear there are a lot of individuals suffering from homelessness, addiction, and mental health struggles who use the surrounding neighbourhood parks to hang out. The hotel staff were generally helpful although there were a few times we made requests to the front desk that needed following up. The amenities in the room itself felt very well-maintained. One downside was that there was no free bottled water provided and we had to buy water from the shop in the hotel lobby, which was heavily overpriced and we thought it was a bit ridiculous considering the price we were paying for the room. Overall, would recommend as it is a cheaper hotel than others but this comes with a price in terms of area safety and amenities provided by the hotel."

"Great hotel in central location, amenities with pool, gym and bar area are good and front of house staff very helpful to take receipt of a parcel for me and give me during check-in. Also having benefit of late checkout was very helpful"

"This was a mini-reunion with my brother and sister. We could not have picked a better hotel in which to stay. The staff were welcoming and made us feel comfortable and recognized as individuals. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated being able to control the thermostat in our room. My sister enjoyed the enveloping robe available to each of us and I luxuriated in the large fluffy towel after showering."

"The 3 nights stay was pleasant. Location is good. Near to my place of business and shopping area with many food options. The room is basic and functional, kind of dated. Could do with some carpentry like replacing creaky doors. I wish there are more hooks or rail around the room for hanging wet coats since it is winter now. I suggest change the cloth cupboard to open concept for better ventilation. The toilet could do with a towel rail too."

"Great location, close to some very good restaurants and a block away from Old Montreal, and close to Metro stations. The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers. It does have a laundry facility, which is nice, but the breakfasts are really substandard, considering the cost. Selecting breakfasts increases the room cost significantly, or you could pay $27 per person for the breakfast. It was standard hotel breakfast buffet - you could get twice the quality for half the price elsewhere. And parking is $28 per day, or portion of a day."
