We stayed here for two nights out of a 16 night self-drive tour of New England. This was the worst accommodation of the trip for a number of reasons. We arrived to check-in and the receptionist could not have been less helpful. Unfriendly and the worst welcome we have received in New England. We were allocated a room in the motel section of the accommodation. The room was grim … tired decor, items removed from the walls either side of the bed, with holes left in the wall paper. The carpet was smelly with ground in dirt and bleach marks and the bathroom smelt damp. Breakfast was offered (extra cost) on a take it or leave it basis. No dining room … so breakfast would have been delivered to our room. Even on leaving, the receptionist failed to engage with us … so much for customer service. The only redeeming feature of this place is the proximity to the town centre. Frankly, I couldn’t wait to leave and would certainly not return. Very disappointing.

Had so much fun with my mom and sister and daughter for a girls trip! Mosley cottage Inn was such a cute little bed-and-breakfast with a great location off a side street yet close to all the great restaurants and shops. The staff were very accommodating and so pleasant and our room was perfect for us 4. The breakfast was delicious with homemade blueberry pancakes and bacon and eggs and the best fresh fruit bowl among other items. Front porch and the porch off our room was comfortable and a great place to relax and enjoy breakfast. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were always available downstairs too! We will definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

Wonderful Stay walking distance to all that is Bar Harbor..A short drive to Acadia or take an Explorer Bus from downtown. Everything was clean and safe. Highly recommended..Hostess was very kind and friendly. Shower and carpet were clean.. Had good coffee choices in the foyer

The room was very clean and comfortable. Having a private, large patio was such a bonus. The breakfasts were delicious and delivered to our room. We would recommend Moseley Cottage Inn to anyone looking for a quiet, quant place to stay in Bar Harbor. Additionally, the location is at the edge of the downtown.

Beautiful house, lovely room and porch was awesome. Superb location. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast brought right to your room! Especially liked the blueberry pancakes , lovely fruit cups and vegetarian eggs Benedict. Met some very sweet repeat guests who also had rave reviews! Thank you so much for one of the best vacations I can remember!

We very much enjoyed our recent two night stay at the Mosely Cottage Inn. Our room (Strath Eden) was large, comfortable and well-appointed. It was also quiet, and had a pleasant view of the back gardens, which we enjoyed while eating the breakfast that was delivered to our room each morning. The location can’t be beat: we parked our car the first afternoon and didn’t get into it again until we checked out. We walked to the Abbe Museum, to dinner both nights and to our boat expedition. We also just walked around town. With all the traffic in Bar Harbor, that was a relief. We’ll be back.

First time staying here for our annual anniversary trip to BH. We stayed in the motel portion in a downstairs unit. Very quiet, clean, comfortable sheets. Mattress was okay. We enjoyed getting coffee in the office after being out and about. Our only complaint/recommendation is that the shower in our bathroom (a Queen room) was so narrow, our elbows continuously hit the soap/shampoo dispenser that was inconveniently placed on the wall where you are standing in the shower. Perhaps moving it to the back of the shower would make the narrow shower seem less narrow. Would definitely switch out the shower rod with a curved one and that would help as well. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again.

The Inn is very quiet and offers a serene experience but is very close to Al the restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor. The breakfasts were delicious and delivered either to our room or served on the front porch. Very comfortable rooms with excellent beds. We loved it!

Charming Inn, set aside from the bustle of downtown Bar Harbor, but within easy walking distance. My wife and I stayed at the Inn on a return trip from Nova Scotia to Cape Cod, a trip with several frustrations at other locations causing us to rearrange our stay at Moseley. Pam was amazingly welcoming, accommodating, and personable, making everything right for us! The Inn has been restored perfectly and is a stately place to spend time. Lots of history here. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and service second to none. The gardens are amazing! We had breakfast before leaving, cooked by her husband Scott (filling in for help that was out sick) and boy, was it amazing. I had eggs benedict that was cooked perfectly! If you are headed to Bar Harbor any time soon, stay at Moseley Inn, you won't be disappointed. We will be back for sure.
