Hilton Elite Members: Word of caution! As a loyal Diamond member, the ONLY reason I booked at this property was to take advantage of Diamond benefits with the chance of an upgrade. This hotel refuses to participate in the Hilton loyalty program and will deny upgrades even if they have multiple rooms for upgrade available during your stay. The staff is armed with terms and conditions printed and highlighted from the Hilton website to defend their position highlighting this is not the first time they have answered this issue. Price fraud: As a frequent traveler who stays >180 nights in a hotel each year, I’ve never seen such fraudulent pricing practices than I saw here. We booked a standard two queen room for ~$500/night and all the rates have a 10-day cancellation policy. I understand dynamic pricing, but on the day of arrival my room was only $330/night (and the suite I requested for an upgrade was the price of the original room). If you can adjust your prices down, I should be able to either price match or upgrade for the same rate. This is common with other hotels, all airlines, and cruise lines. If you are a Hilton elite booking here for loyalty, I strongly encourage you to stay in a local hotel with better rates, superior location, and proper service. Oh, if you have an electric car: this is the first Tesla destination charger I have ever used that charges a fee. And at $0.55/kWh, they are profiting 4x the price of electricity for the added “benefit” of electric car charging
