Harborside Hotel Marina and Spa

From check-in to check-out we loved every minute of our stay. The hotel is grand yet not intimidating. The staff exceptionally friendly, especially the front desk and bellmen. The management are very visible and involved. We loved our room which was spotless. An amazing location in the heart of Bar Harbor yet the property was always quiet and a great place to relax.

For the price, they supply everything a traveler needs. Location is perfect for strolling downtown or for popping in and out of Acadia. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restroom didn’t appear to be cleaned very well in our room.

A proper resort. While the asthetics are dated they still work and the rooms and quality are excellent. King studio room is very nice. Patio off a sliders door…seperate king room…hallway to a small conplete kitchen - full fridge, cooktop, microwave, and a full nice size bathroom with a separated sink and prep area.. A proper resort fit and feel and even with standard view which connects to parking lot…that lot sits on the Frenchmen bay so still gorgeous.

We were rerouted from our hotel, due to remodeling there. O'Neil and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Our Oceanview from the balcony, being in the center of town, and the great room and service were top-notch. Thank you for your hospitality!

Fuimos “bumpeados” a este hotel pues el hotel que reservamos originalmente ya había cerrado por la temporada. Puedo decir que fue lo mejor que nos pudo haber pasado. Es un hotel hermoso, junto al puerto, casi todas las habitaciones con vista parcial al hermoso paisaje de Bar Harbor, las habitaciones increíblemente acogedoras así como todo el hotel. Tengo entendido que si ustedes visitan entre Mayo y Septiembre tienen una zona del hotel habilitada con Spa, alberca, canchas de tenis y otras amenidades plus, desgraciadamente para fines de octubre que yo visité eso ya había cerrado. Aún así el hotel principal no necesita nada más, el restaurante es delicioso para desayunos y en las tardes/noches es de comida italiana (buenísimo también). El personal siempre súper amable, desde recepción hasta mantenimiento o camaristas, todos con una actitud de “disfrutar su trabajo”. Incluso me tocó ver a una empleada de áreas públicas cantando (literal) mientras hacía su trabajo, me encantó y la amé. Gracias a todo el hotel por la experiencia que nos quedó, esperamos algún día volver a Bar Harbor y sin duda llegaríamos a hospedarnos nuevamente aquí, ahora si reservando de manera directa.

We had never been to Bar Harbor, Maine and what a gem! We stayed at The Harborside Marina Hotel and so happy we did! The hotel was right on the marina so our views were spectacular! The first night we had dinner at the hotel, Bella Vita restaurant and the food and service exceeded our expectations! I booked a massage at the spa with Bobby and what a great experience…It was honestly one of the best massages I have ever had. The rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable! I cannot recommend the Harborside Marina hotel enough, thank you hotel staff, for making our vacation so memorable. We will definitely be back next season!
